After church one morning decided to visit for breakfast, only two blocks from our house. We had only been there once before and it had seemed chaotic. This time was a great experience. I guess a few years make a difference. When we first entered we were not sure if it was a seat yourself place or not since there... More

Twenty bike miles done so this was to be our halfway food stop. I had a delicious stacked corned beef Reuben sandwich on rye with house chips that were a little overdone, but glad they were not salted and Iced tea. My friend loved the temperature hot, Sahuaro omelette stuffed with artichoke hearts with the not-so-light pancakes for side choice.... More

We stayed in Tucson a couple of days, eating in our room for breakfast. On our last day, heading to Phoenix, we searched for a restaurant in Oro Valley. Sahara Cafe was near the top. Saw "chorizo" and I was there! Both hubby and I had the Sahara Skillet. This is a cast iron skillet with the most delicious home... More

I had eggs with chorizo and cheese. The eggs were just smothered. I thought the chorizo was very good. The waitress was nice.

We had breakfast and it was very fresh tasting. The food came fairly quickly and our ice teas did not go empty! The price was very reasonable.

Good for breakfast and lunch. Food is standard American and some Mexican meals. Nice place for meals in a neighborly atmosphere. Freshly fried potato chips were a hit. Burgers and scrambles tend to be overdone, so ask for rarer or softer prep if that is your preference.

Delicious food and friendly servers. We went here everyday for breakfast while on vacation. It appears to be a local favorite, so you know it is good! Highly recommend.

The staff is sometimes better or just as good as the food. Try the California Omelet with Chorizo added.

We enjoyed a nice Sunday breakfast with friends at Sahuaro Cafe. Get there early since there could be a wait in the weekends. The waitresses are busy pleasing everyone and the food is plentiful and good old home cooking. I had a Patty Melt sandwich for lunch and I could not believe that it came with fresh cut potato fries,... More
