Six of us had the pleasure of dining in this establishment. We opted for Italian cuisine and we were not disappointed in the food. It was delizioso. We are diffently coming back.

It's hard to find that authentic Mexican zing in the US, somehow the ingredients just don't cut it, but at El Zarape you will feel that you are eating your "abuelita's" rice and beans. The lunch specials are an exceptional value and the prices are very fair.

The food was average for Mexican in a place so close to the border. The tortillas were great but the chili rellenos I had were too greasy and the refried beans very runny. We were disappointed because we had been given rave reviews about this place. No chips and salsa served either, aren't those a staple in any Mexican restaurant?... More

We have wanted to go to this restaurant for some time, but parking can be a problem with a big pick -up. Had lunch there today and were disappointed. The food was fresh & well served, but the flavor was very average. I had the tostados & my husband had the daily special. A soup was served with both meals,... More

I've been eating here for years. There are 3 generations in the kitchen. The Nana and Mother cook while the children serve. The menudo is very clean and delicious! All the food is made fresh, daily. Highly recommended

Outstanding, local restaurant for breakfast. Generous portions, reasonably priced, excellent service, and outstanding food. I have the Huevos ala Mexicana with homemade tortillas. Will return.

Great food, family run, some of the best that Nogales has to offer. This is a book by its cover place. Hope you enjoy!

We ate lunch here. It is a "local-local" cafe. Don't expect the frills you find in big name places but the food is good and reasonably priced.

Wonderful little place with authentic Mexican cuisine. Little "Mom and Pop" place with a good menu! Daily lunch specials include homemade soup (such as Mexican cheese soup and albondigas). Combination plates come with homemade frijoles and rice. Generous servings, great service, pleasant waitresses! And takeout available! Open all day!

I was wondering why there weren't any pics of the food and now know it's because it's so amazing you don't want to waste any time eating it. We both ordered combination platters and they brought out what I thought was a cheese and potato soup as an appetizer. I finished the whole bowl because it was so delicious and... More
