We stumbled in here pooped and famished only to discover a varied menu, solicitous and friendly waiter and yummy chow. I'm not a gourmand, but Tante Nina is set up for those who know what they're doing, if the menu is an indication. I did visit during tourist season, though, so I'd be more careful in the winter. Great selection,... More

Securing good restaurants in Ushuaia is somewhat of a challenge: when we couldn't be seated at a couple of places that had been recommended to us, we decided to give Tante Nina a try. I would definitely skip this one: other than the nice view of the harbor, this restaurant has nothing working in its favor - it's really just... More

When in Ushuaia and your are looking for a Seafood Restaurant, Tante Nina is the place to go. View is fantastic and the food is very good. Salmon was good, Hake fish was fantastic and the crab casserole was very yummy.

This restaurant, under new management, offers nothing better than most other seafood places in Ushuaia, only much higher prices and smaller servings. Service is very good, and the view is nice (although obstructed by many cables), but that does not compensate for a seafood platter composed of hard, dry fried mussels, fish and calamari that seemed to belong in a... after eating a reasonably good meal tried to pay with amexco card and was refused; after pointing out the amexco card symbol on door owner/mgr walked off; had to use other currency at an absurd exchange rate ie Ar 3.40 to real when should have been 4.10-4.30 to real. would NOT return.

This place was highly recommended by locals and surely it didnot dissappoint. It has a very nice view of the port plus its own flower garden. Food is delicious and I was looking for king crab and was really satisfied, appetiser and main course very yummy. Must visit.

Since the recommended place was closed, we tried this restaurant on the harbor and had a very fine crab meal with a good Chilean wine. The crab soup as well as dinner was fresh, generous, and very tasty. Service was excellent and the desserts and coffee finished the meal to our satisfaction. Probably not the best value in town, but... More

We had the "devils crab" dish. It was bery good, with large chuncks of crab meat. When they say it is spicy, believe them, very great for spicy food lover. The mussels were also very delicious. Service is great. Atmosphere is old school fancy, great views. A little procy but on par with everywhere in Ushuaia

We went yestersay for lunch, had seafood pasta and cream pasta for the kids, kingcrab which was average, and ojo de bife steak was also average. It s overall average food, view is nice. but i found the pricing the same as other more sophisticated and more upscale restaurant like Kaupe, in this case not really worth the money. I... More

We had a group of 14 people dining at Tante Nina January 2016 based on the recommendation from a tour guide. The restaurant had a wonderful view of the harbor and was clean and pleasant. One of our group members was an ER Physician who spoke perfect Spanish. She was in charge of ordering for us. The waiter suggested that... More
