Terribly overpriced. Food is greasy and heavy. Ordered a hamburger that was oversized and unhealthy. Also ordered potatoes with cream and onions. Tasty but also extremely greasy.

"Comida al disco" is very, very tasty meal. The waitresses are very friendly. Prices are average. Highly recommended.
We were really hungry and went in for a meal. We had the 2 steak with potatoes deal for 1300 pesos. It was such a disappointment. The meat was a very poor quality and tasted of nothing but oil. The food was super oily and...tasteless and I can not recommend going there.More
We were really hungry and lots of places were full, so reluctantly entered into this rather poorly decorated cafe. Food as uninspiring as it looks - keep walking.
Excellent meat. We ate lamb, beefsteak and ribs. Very tasty, big portions. Service was nice and friendly. Had a very enjoyable evening there. Not a crowded place.
Many times I have reviewed on TA and needed a rating between good and very good. And I need it again. We were a group of four and everyone's food was excellent. I shared a Plancheta Para Dos with my wife. The desserts also were...good. I had Copa Calafate. The restaurant is quite basic (no need to dress up) and the atmosphere is friendly. The service, however, was very slow but we were in no hurry so no problem. In case it is an issue for you, the toilets are unisex. Overall I liked this place and would return.More
This is the casual (and less expensive) alternative to the La Lechuza restaurant upstairs. The menu was fairly varied, the service and food were very good. It’s on the main drag of El Calafate.
The food (steak) was good, however following things should be improved to facilitate a well-being of visitors: a) the personnel should be more attentive to customers (long time to be served) b) doors do not close automatically after visitors come in or out - cold...air disturbs a pleasant stay, c) wi-fi (which is not so important) is there but not providing any internet connection.More
During our “restaurant audit” we noted a good quality level of the food prepared - especially the steak is recommend. However, we noted that overall the restaurant and service needs improvement. 1. The door does not close automatically hence every second persons forgets to close...it and it gets very cold and windy. 2. Service attendance level is mediocre- we highly recommend to watch out for the customers on a more frequent basis.More
The warm rice salad tasted bad and looked like it was made in a hurry. The spaghetti was lifeless too. Very poor offering.
So we came around 3:30 pm for a late lunch. We asked for the special, thinking it would be safe... first we are Argentines, so bife a la criolla is supposed to be beef sauté with onions peppers and some times tomatoes... anyway, not so...here! We first got a bowl of bread, we had a piece of toast that was green there, then when they brought us the bife, big ole piece of hair stuck to the beef, so we mentioned the moldy piece of bread and hair on the steak. They took it all back, 20 minutes later new steak and bread. The steak was tough, the French fries great. Probably not the best place to eat...More
This is a nice place with great prices. I had the cheeseburger which was average, and my wife had Salmon which was very good. We accidentally bought a whole bottle of wine and a big bottle of beer and we were shocked at how low...the prices were. We thought the price for the bottle was the price for a glass, and then we were pleasantly surprised once we saw the bill. It's also a great place to try Provoleta!More
Went there fora lunch as it was close to hotel and we were hungry after long travel. Service was ok and we ordered two different pizzas, vegeterian and lamb meat. Vegetarian was totally tasteless. Lamb meat gave some flavor which raised review from being 1...star to 2. After this experience wouldn’t go here again.More
Dry tasteless burger with stale bread and lots of chewy bits in the paddy. Disappointing feed. Look elsewhere.
I had high hopes for this place since the restaurant was packed. They have a few vegetarian options but no vegan options unless you want to order a salad without cheese and French fries. I ordered the gnocchi and unfortunately wasn’t impressed with the food.
