We visited in shoulder season, and I think many places were winding down for winter. La Zaina had a good vibe with both waitresses who attended us being friendly and relaxed. My wife's lamb was basic but tasty. My trout risotto was fairly uninspiring but completely edible - just not that well executed in my opinion.

The service was really good and the food was great. I had the vegetable risotto which was really tasty and quite big and my husband had the lamb cooked in Malbec. Definitely one of the best lamb dish we ever had. We also had the lavander flan for dessert. It was really special. We had a bottle of malbec as... More

Stews are a speciality of this comfortable and attractive restaurant, and home cooking is the style. Reasonable prices. To be recommended.

Very cool restaurant just a street away from the main strip. A little bit more expensive than some places you will eat in Argentina but all the food was delicious. Plus a steak is still a lot cheaper (and much better) than one you'll get in Europe or Australia. Friendly staff and nice decor make it a good place to... More

We went to this restaurant for an early dinner - we were very nicely impressed with the decoration of the restaurant - the waitresses we had were also super nice and provided us with good food/ drinks recommendations. The only problem we had is my bf getting sick after eating there - having said that the food tasted good anyway.

Hello, Marine. We thank you for your review, it's a shame for us to hear about your boyfriend getting sick. The last dinner is not always the cause of the pain, but anyway any opinion help us to grown up more every day. More

Lovely cosy restaurant decorated with an interesting collection of memorabilia. Absolutely delicious food - highly recommend the trout with risotto - and good wine. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Can't fault it!

I love this place. I passed by it this morning walking through town and I was enamored by the rustic and artistic decor. I promised myself I would hit it up for dinner and I am so glad I did!!! If you want a place to go to in El Calafate that carries a great personality of the region and... More

We stumbled upon this cute place, and liked it so much we ate there twice! Such a cozy yet chic decor, with tons of fun artifacts on the walls. Food is simple yet delicious, and wine well priced. Ask your server for things not on the wine list...we did and bought a fabulous bottle of Argentinian Cab Franc. The Patagonian... More

The reviews are correct! Don't judge by the exterior appearance. Food/service are very good! We had the trout(289p), lamb(290p), glass of good tasting wine(65p), water(42p, and panqueque dessert(59p). A glass of house liquor is provided at no cost after your meal. You get a 10% discount when paying with cash, which we returned as a tip! This restaurant can be... More

In a tourist town where prices are high and restaurants don't have to offer the best quality food, we found Zaina to be excellent. Intimate, cozy and quirky, it delivered a quality delicious ribeye steak perfectly cooked with a side of grilled vegetables. We ordered a bottle of red wine to go with it and had a wonderful night for... More

La Zaina Restaurante & Wine Bar, it is a liltle and cozy restaurante, just one block from the Main St.

We have a very quiet and roomy place, where our guest can talk each ohter, and enjoy a great evening inside or in our incredible back yard.

We have the best cocktails and Wines at the town, We are speciilst in beverage, but first at all, wine lovers and we love what we do.

You will find our famous Patagonic Lamb, in several way to be coocked. And also you could taste our great bistecs and Wines from all around our country.

Imagine to go to the past, to one of the pioneers Farm Houses at Patagonia. La Zaina is sorrounded by any kind of memories from said places. It is like a Museum, but also, you can spend a great time. Good music, good wine, the best Lamb, just one block from the main st.

Pls book yr table.
