After a full day at the glaciers, this seemed to be the right place to have a beer and we were right! Great service, nice decoration and view from the city center and of, course, tasty beer!

Solid bar in the middle of town. Staff is courteous and are able to communicate in English. The fries are quite crispy - which was nice. If you get drinks only, they give you some popcorn to snack on. Best part - they play awesome...covers of top 40 music for the past 20-30 years. Worth swinging by and grabbing a beer.More

It was Christmas Eve in El Calafate, and many restaurants were closed or serving a pre-fixe mix grill menu. This restaurant seemed the relative best. My family and I are big readers, so it was interesting to go to this restaurant where the theme is...authors and books. The service was outstanding and the food was good, and perhaps because of Christmas Eve, it became very fun and cozy.More

A salad with iceberg lettuce and a couple of gratuitous tomatoes and shrimps. It was like the chef CBA.

Nice spot for some lunch, but had to continually remind the waiter that we’d ordered things and we gave up on a number of items. The sandwiches (we tried the steak and chicken ones) were large and well made.

We were looking for a snack and beer this upstairs bar attracted our attention so we wandered up. It's supposed to be a library bar so walls lined with books. Indifferent service, average food. The best bit was the view over the main street where...all of life happens! I'm sure there are better bars in El Calafate.More

The lamb stew was delicious, staff friendly and great food & drink choice. View of the main road & shopping area

The sun was shining and we decided to stay there for a pisco and a beer. Finally we had also a burger and some french fries. The quality of the drinks and the food was good and the prices in our opinion not too high....The staff was friendly and we enjoyed there a relaxing late afternoon.More

Empanadas and pizza were okay. Beer was good. Kind of a touristy feel to it due to location in a touristy strip of stores. Very nice outdoor area Wait staff was a bit slow but okay. So basically the place is okay, not bad and...not great.More

Nice themed bar with nice interior. Staff seems reluctant and indifferent to customers. Not a pleasant attitude. Food was mediocre. One notices that this is run like a chain instead of a self owned bar resto.
