Great hostel and restaurant. The people were so warm and welcoming! They also had an outside area for bbq'ing. Highly recommended!

Tasty food with great staff at a cool price. Very colorful place in a young atmosphere. We ordered the pizza that was great and not so expensive.

No doubt, the bar has a very cool & fresh style. However the food was quite disappointing (steak & noodles) and we wouldn't go there for food anymore. But we can imagine that this bar is cool to get several drinks ;). WiFi available.

Came for dinner to this place since it was recommended. The place is a alternative bat with good music and great graffiti art on the walls. A fortunately the food was awful and the waiter did not care a bit about. We ordered some simple grilled chicken (totally dry) and some vacio ( typical beef dish in Argentina). The meat... More

This place has locally brewed beer on tap and excellent steaks. We had a fantastic meal here and wish we could go back for more!

We liked the alternative look of the restaurant. The prices are average. And so we went in. At the end it was a big mistake. The food was terrible and the rest also. We traveled already 2 month through Argentina. We made many good experience with the restaurants and only a few bad ones. This was the worst...

I dined on two consecutive evenings at Cambalache, just across the road from the Kosten Aike hotel. Their pizzas were enormous - one was enough for 3 people. Pizza costs 175 pesos, and one can request half and half - the vegetarian and salami were both good, and toppings were extremely generous. House red wine was only 300 pesos for... More

"Cambalache" is a classic rest bar of El Calafate from where we dedicate ourselves to elaborate and spread typical dishes of our regional cuisine, Argentinian meals at Argentine prices with the characteristic Patagonian hospitality.
In this way we are orientated to a young spirit who travels to understand the cultures and their different expressions, as well as the Argentine who enjoys being so.
Strategically located, surrounded by modern hostels and traditional hotels where we propose a warm place attended by its owners and a great team.
Cambalache is set with different works of American artists on our walls, along with a selection of good music and the best of us to spend unforgettable moments on your visit to these places.
