Although this place seems popular the food is not that great. I think people are lured by the 2for1 deal on everything despite the fact that the price after discount is the same as you would pay elsewhere. The pizza is incredibly salty, cheesy, and greasy - not enjoyable. Try somewhere else.

We didn't expect much and entered the place mainly because we were super hungry and it was just there :) But - surprisingly the food was pretty good! Decent mash potatoes and mushroom soup, and really good four-cheese pasta. Waitress didn't speak much English but tried really hard to help and was extremely nice! And of course - central location... We ate at Cocodrillos twice for dinner, and once for lunch. Their service is fast, the food is good, and the prices are reasonable. Cocodrillos has a gimmick that says that you get 2 for 1 pricing, but everything on their menu is 2x as expensive as the other restaurants. For example, a Coke Light is $30 Argentina pesos at... We stopped here for a drink only in happy hour. It is well worth it. We had just met another couple on a trip and we joined them here. Try it, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Service is great

My friends and I went for a late lunch. Had pasta and enjoyed it very much. We went during the lunch two for one schedule , and I especially was impressed because even though we were three , the waiter said I could still order and he would bill me for my half, and not a full price meal. Great... More

Its ok - attentive enoug. Well located. Empanadas where a bit spicier than other places. We felt it was ok but compared to Buenos Aires the prices are high - but this is a "rich mans" town.

Sorry, Argentina. You do empanadas right, but when it comes to pizza, ham and whole green olives don't cut it. I lived in Argentina in '75, and the pizza was to die for. Apparently, the recipe for that pizza died with the Perons...

I visit "Cocodrilo's" every time I am in Bariloche, which is quite often! The place has been there for a long time and it is a local icon. What you find here is excellent pizza, empanadas (can't leave Argentina without trying this local staple!) and a well rounded set of "minutas" which is the local term for quickly prepared meals.... We stopped in for a light meal on a cool, rainy day. We each had a bowl of the pumpkin soup and shared a bit of house wine. Very big bowl of soup, hot and lacking taste. I saw the reviews that pizza was good here but we were not in the mood for more pizza. Avoid the house wine.... More

Loved the Pizza, we ordered 2 large family sized pizzas for 130 pesos each (14 euros each) and 4 bottles of mineral water which were 20 pesos each (2 euros plus each) The thing we did not like is the service, far too slow. I would suggest you go there if you are not in a big hurry.
