We visited Alto el Fuego twice in our four nights in Bariloche. Fantastic service. The waiters remembered us when we went back for the second time. Delicious food. The lomo is outstanding and enough to feed two people. We also had a side salad and a side of fries. We also had a chocolate mousse dessert. All delicious. Nice choice... More

The place has a nice atmosphere with it being a little house on top of a hill. Quaint, casual and charming. This is Argentinean beef at its best, as goos as it gets. We tried their bife de chorizo, their ojo de bife, their entrana, their lomo...They were all ridiculously good, and plenty to satisfy any palate. They also have... More

Upon arrival, our table of 6 had become a party of 8 but the staff were very accommodating and happily added extra seating for us. We were shown to our table and the menu was explained to us in full, including the different cuts of meat available with costs varying around 260-300pesos for steak. My boyfriend and I had originally... More

A really delicious meal from start to finish. The lamb was devine and portion sizes very generous. Book in advance as the restaurant fills up.

There is a reason why this is the number one restaurant in Bariloche! We went there for lunch and there was space for us with no reservation. It is a lovely small restaurant with excellent service. The portion size was excellent, we had enormous steaks for under 300 Argentinian pesos. They were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Probably the best steak... More

Nice dinner, good lamb (cordero) and the meat empanada was very good too. I'd like to have more side options. The dessert (chocolate mousse) was delicious.

It gets four stars because although the atmosphere and food are good and the staff outstanding it just doesn't match La Salmandra Pulperia, although it has the advantage of being close to the centre of town. We really enjoyed our meal and the staff were great in getting us a taxi back to our hotel - it just has such... More

We had a fantastic meal here. Two of our friends were not red meat eaters but were able to order the grilled chicken which was huge and amazing. The beef was mouth watering, also huge amount and incredibly seasoned. The huge plate of mashed potatoes was licked clean! Really nice staff who spoke enough English that we could communicate well.... More

This was the best steak we had in Bariloche! It was so tasty! The friendly staff and the best music just added to the wonderful experience. Don't miss it! So good, really.

This is a simple but great restaurant. Well worth seeking out if you are in town. The steaks here are excellent and beautifully cooked on the grill. Service is very friendly and helpful. The Malbec was excellent, loved this place and hope to return one day.
