In Alto el Fuego we ordered one stake to share and we've got big piece of juicy very tasty meat with delicious chimichurri sauce that was enough for 2 of us. It's pitty that we discovered that place only the last day as this was the best steak I've ever eaten.

We had the trout, steak, fries, mixed salad and combination salad. We couldn't fault our meals! Great service with an English speaking server. Wholesome huge meals that were basic ingredients but tasted fantastic ! Sister who has just travelled around South America for 5 weeks even went as far as saying it's the best meal she's had the entire trip!... More

Go to this place, order the Ojo de Bife medium rare or "al punto", empanadas de carne, Clos de los 7 wine and please take the Final Perfecto for dessert. Best dinner I had in 10 days on Argentina. The staff are so friendly, you will return I can promise you that.

We like to visit Alta El Fuego with larger groups and they are always accommodating. In fact, we usually request the table in the wine cellar because it offers the best table for seating large groups and you get a very personalized experience. The various cuts of meat from a typical Argentine Asado can be found here and the asadors... More

I had ben meaning to try Alto el Fuego for a long time, and when i finally did, i wish i had went sooner. The atmosphere is so homey and cozy. The staff is kind and so accommodating. The steak was cooked so perfectly, and the french fries are a must. The waitress offered us great recommendations on wine selection.... More

My husband and I went to this fantastic little steakhouse twice during our short visit to Bariloche. The service was flawless (helpful & friendly) with a fluent English speaking waiter. My husband had the rib eye and the lamb, while I had the lighter option of the trout both nights. They also have a great selection of wines which the... More

Although the menu was in Spanish, we were able to order an excellent meal for the six of us. The bread is baked daily and is truly delicious. The salads were fresh and copious. It was one of the finest meals we has in Argentina.

This was our favorite meal we had in Argentina. The steaks were amazing. A small and basic menu (meat, salad, potatoes) but everything we ate was very good. A smaller restaurant within the town on Bariloche. We were the only people that did not speak Spanish but our waiter was so nice to help us navigate the menu and make... More

We had read about this place and although it is up a few hills from downtown it was well worth the hike!!! There is a pub also near this restaurant (can't remember the name of it) and we had beer here twice!!! then one of the times we had a delicious dinner at Alto el Fuego. We ate outside although...
