We had a table for 5 there, but we were the only people in the restaurant. The only guy that served us was Ernesto - he was really lovely and offered us all the gluten free options( turns out his daughter or something has celiac too) . The food wa great- the salad, the rabbit dish and of course- the... More

Cassis was very good, but not good enough to be excellent. Their prices are high and you would expect something exceptional. The 5 course dinner is a nice experience. Some of the offerings were a bit uneven. The same dish served to several people was not always the same. The trout for one was good, while for the other too... More

Went by private care from Llao Llao hotel - round trip fare was $58.00 with Jorge who was part driver, part tour guide and part travel agent arranged thru the concierge. Ernesto and his wife greeted us. Had a wonderful 4 course dinner with a salad that came from their garden, local trout, and a lamb strudel that was excellent.... More

A lovely fine dining restaurant in Bariloche was our fantastic find in this lovely area. The restaurant is circular and has tall windows that look out onto an idyllic lake and scenery that is takes your breathe away. It was truly a fine dining presentation for every course and worth a picture. Every bite was a taste explosion and we... More

We visited Cassis in late November 2012. We were able to get the last reservation of the evening. Cassis is now my favorite restaurant. The menu was balanced, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The attention to detail was meticulous. The ambience is very understated elegance in a rustic environment. We both had the lamb and loved it. The salad was... More

While we liked Alto el Fuego and Kandahar better, Cassis had more creative food, albeit more expensive as well. We had sorrel soup, a salad from their garden, trout and a lamb dish. For dessert we had a profiterole and a kaiserschmarm. The wines, a medium-priced malbec and cabernet, were mediocre. It's a bit out-of-town on a lake, so the... More

Beautiful restaurant with a great, modern, flavorful take on Patagonian staples like trout, pâté, and lamb. Highly recommend the 5-course tasting menu and wines by the glass. Not to miss for those who appreciate a special meal. Can't wait to return some day...

The five course meal was amazing! Each dish is beautifully presented and the food was perfect. The lamb was really incredible! The view of the lake and mountains is gorgeous.--All together, it was one of the best meals I've ever had!

We ate here twice in November. Not just the best food, wine and service in Argentina but amongst the best we have found anywhere in the world, and at a senisble price. Go for the whole menu and listen to Ernesto's choices of wine by the glass to go with it. Go early in the evening so you can enjoy... More
