We tend to eat at UK times in the evening and so this place was quiet when we arrived but filled up later. The service was great and the food was divine with some great Malbec to accompany it.

We liked the service and the style o the restaurant and had high expectations. The starters were all fish and were very good. Sadly after a hard day's hiking we all went for the steak and despite asking for rare it all arrived overcooked and...was not great quality meat. Shame as we liked the ambience of the place. A good wine list.More
I never write reviews, but I have to make an exception! This meal was absolute perfection :-) Good options for vegetarians!
Nice atmosphere and service but chef didn’t have his best day - totally overcooked all the meat dishes.
I recently returned to this place after some time. I was really excited to have the rack of lamb. Unfortunately my entire group who had been here before believed that the lamb was not as good as thee last time we visited. Not sure if...this was result of us going on a Monday and maybe the lamb was not fresh but we all complained that the lamb was rough and very hard to eat and possibly not cooked at the moment at the barbecue pit, it's almost like they reheated it or cooked it inside in an oven... I was disappointed with the lamb which is the main reason to go to this place... Not sure what is happening but I believe it's hit or miss if you will get a good meal... Should be more consistent...More
Delicious food, great service, cosy atmosphere! We really enjoyed our dinner with good wine and great steak.
Very small place, attended by its own owner. Great food, great ambience. The wine selection is excellent and the ownder is knowledgeable. Booking indispensable.Recommended for a quiet dinner.
Our whole experience was a treat. The food was amazing and the service was over the top. They were so kind and attentive.
We really enjoyed our dinner at El Meson. Although our Spanish is very limited and their English likewise we managed to get by successfully. Much of the menu is in English as well as Spanish. The decor is attractive and the serving staff friendly. The...complimentary starters were delicious. For mains, I had the langoustines and they were really really good. The lamb with mint sauce was loved by one of our party but the other felt the mint sauce was too sweet and wished he'd asked for it on the side rather than over the meat. The cheese omelette and walnut and cheese salad were enjoyed by our other diner. When it came time to pay we were treated to a home made liqueur made from oranges and mandarins, as well as a little dish of chocolate - the perfect end to a lovely meal.More
Cosy and spectacular restaurant. The servisse is done by the owner Mr Raul himself and the kitchen is made by his wife, Joana, which is above the average. Very good moments.
