My salmon was overdone and chewy, with lots of little bones. The veg. accompaniment was just so so. Everything in the bread basket was stale. The butter tasted like it had mayonnaise mixed in it. Only 2 choices of wine for small bottles. The one I chose was really bad. The service was great and the decor was very nice.

We had fish and potatoes (Argentines don't do veg as a rule). Can get roasted veg as an add-on if you ask and get lucky. Trying to be creatively upmarket but not totally working. Prices average for area. Desert was nice (chocolate fondant)

Most of the food was average, and the fish kebabs were inedible. The restaurant itself is lovely and well appointed, but not "authentic" in terms of local flavor. Yes, it's highly rated on TA, but with so many other choices, I'd say skip it.

Went for lunch and was very underwhelmed with both the food and the service. I had shrimp which were not fresh and my husband had scallops that were sandy. The lettuce in the salad was not even fresh. Maybe the meats are better than the seafood but I don't think I would go back to find out. This place does have... More

Went for dinner at about 8:30pm. Place crowded already. Space attractive with some outdoor dining also. My husband and I split the salmon carpaccio which was not great quality and as overwhelmed by the Parmesan cheese slices. Then we had pork shoulder served covered in potato chips. No vegetables on the menu which apparently is typical. I could not eat... More

We visited Chona yesterday because of the ratings in here. The location is nice and the service is good. The bread is dry and not tasty (it would be better to bake some fresh pizza bread in the own oven). The chorizo was nice but not perfect. I had the lamb - it was only fat and not tasty. After... Great value tasty food. So good that we are here twice on a 5 night stay! Slightly unusual combination of garnishes and in particular a bife carbonara on a huge burger bun but delicious all the same.

This is the best restaurant we could find and benefits from being both open (especially outside regular mealtimes) and near the beach (you can sit outside and look at the sea - in this seaside resort this is unusual). They also play great 80s and 90s music, with a focus on electronica, which appeals to me. The fish of the... More

We just went for a quick dessert and coffee. The attention was the best one I had while in Argentina, the server was making sure we were taken care and sang for my girlfriend's birthday. They gave her complimentary ice cream which was only a plus.

We went with high expectations... Wrong approach. We ordered the rack of lamb, thinking it would resemble something we have experienced before. No any. The rack of lamb was two lamb chops and four other cuts of lamb, stacked on an aluminum foil volcano, with a nice sauce, but really weird crispy noodles.
