Nice place, good coffee and a great bar. We enjoyed our stay at Cafe del Tiempo and can definetely recommend to make a stop here whilst discovering Salta.

Busy. Dirty. Ewww toilets and limited to 3 very narrow cubicles! Noisy. Chaotic. No way I am coming back unless I am desperately hungry and it is the only place open.

Okay, so this is very long but I'll try to summarize our experience as much as possible: Taking into account the amount of good and great reviews we saw on TripAdvisor, we thought we'd give this place a try. The first time we went, it was closed (although, according to TripAdvisor, it should have been open). We then tried on... More

My husband and I were so disappointed by the list of " the 10 best places to eat in Salta" , we tried a couple of them but did not enjoy the meal. Then, on our second day in Salta we found Cafe del Tiempo to which we went back the following night as well. Cafe del Tiempo has a... More

If you have to eat there it won't be the tragedy of your life but you won't be recounting it on your death bed. I went for the stir fry which was pretty poor to be honest but that serves me right. If there's one thing I've learned in Argentina it's stick to steak. My wife ordered the tenderloin. It... More

We were 7 people, it seamed the manager assigned our table a new waiter, beverages took 20 minutes (they where 3 beers, a bottle water, the dishes came took 67 minutes, they mistaken the orders and they over cooked the meat, the Colita de cuadril and the grilled Pacu where grate. However the service was awful and they apologise but... More

Great atmosphere and very good food. Best I've eaten since being in Argentina. The Paris steak was really tender and enormous with delicious sauce and a mountain of cheese covered wedges in a separate bowl. The salmon and risotto was a little over cooked but still really good with another delicious sauce of white wine and fresh vegetables Would more... More

This is a great place for a bite to eat. We arrived late in the evening. There is seating outside and service is nice. You do not have to wait long for your dinner. They serve good salads.

You know, a lot of Salteños really love this restaurant, but it never does much for us. They really try to be creative with the menu, but the end result just isn't that good. Maybe being a gluten-free vegetarian is the problem. The atmosphere is nice, they have a good wine selection. You can try it for yourself and see.... More

Found this place by chance - early evening but hungry and not sure if they were set up for evening meals. Very helpful waitress talked us through the menu. Superb steaks, terrific local wine list and a lovely atmosphere. By the time we left, it was a buzzing restaurant. We'l be back!
