The food is great---good old fashioned food....meat and potato kind of food--they have all kinds of items on the menu but it is good old fashioned food!! Service with a smile an great prices. This is a place a lot of the snow birds eat.

I ate here about a year ago and got diarrhea shortly after eating. Thought enough time had passed and maybe things were better. Service here is very good and prices are reasonable, but anything served fried is a hand grenade! Had breakfast last Friday morning and, sure enough, 15 minutes later I got hit with an urgent diarrhea just like... More

Try the country fried steak :-) Very cute little place with friendly waitstaff. Homemade pies daily! Very popular with the older crowd and exceptional prices!

Down home soups and foods...the Hamburger Soup is incredible, so are the others, including Green Pepper soup. The decor is 60's and 70's and very dated...but it fits the food and atmosphere. Clean and comfy...but not fancy in the least. Good value for the price.

As soon as you step into the place you feel you have gone back in time to a 60s or 70s Cafe. The decor is dated to that era and time period and that's the way it's suppose to look. My wife and I had the roast Turkey Dinner only available on Sunday's and it's real roast tender tender Turkey... More

Very popular with the Snowbird crowd. Makes sense in that it is on Main Street in Mesa and there are probably 20 RV resorts within 5 miles. Standard menu items nothing fancy but fresh and good. Service was good. We got there on a Sunday before 9:30am. It started to get real busy around 10am. Probably the church crowd coming... More

The service was ok, food generally good, atmosphere quite dated and drab. Perhaps some of customers like it that way.

This restaurant is popular with the senior crowd. We went for breakfast on the weekend. By 1030 there was a 30 minute wait. Table of four ordered a variety of breakfast dishes and all were served quickly (once we finally got seated). Pancakes with homemade spiced apples (type of a compote) were tasty. I had a breakfast special, ham and... More

Found on TA good choice! Diner style menu with plenty to choose from. Specials. I had chicken special my husband had French Dip from menu. Went there because TA posted them as Mexican but nothing Mexican on their menu or specials. Still was a good choice.

Very inexpensive, good place to eat. Home cooking, American food. Family friendly. I had the patty melt which was very good. My husband had the fish sandwich. He really liked it. It's a snowbird hang-out. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and the food was good. Old fashioned decor. We will definitely be back. The strawberry-rhubarb pie was excellent.
