A good sushi restaurant in a strip mall, it's a little hard to see from the street. The restaurant is medium size. The food there is the same as other sushi places and also some different rolls. I have found a new favorite there.

Seriously, Sekai has some of the best sashimi and sushi in the east valley!!! Not only are the presentations spectacular, but the quality and quantity of their menu items are worth trying. We've been lucky enough to have found this hide-away little bit of "heaven" in 1995, and have been a consistent customer ever since. The creativity of the Chefs... More

We dropped into this place I had never been, near the house, on a whim... The food was great for the price. 8.99 lunch special with a cup of soup not pictured. North of target in a strip center is not where I normally head for sushi, but this was a great find. We will be going back!

This is my personal favorite sushi / Japanese restaurant even though the owners and chefs are mostly Korean. The inside is very nice, and if you like half a fish on a bit of rice then this is your place. The fish is at a perfect temperature (most places are too cold). We have gotten to know the owner over... More

"I love salmon roll", "Killer roll" and "volcano roll" are delicious. If you are still hungry, try their teriyaki salmon dinner plate - you will not be disappointed.

I have been going here for years. Moon is the owner and she always takes great care of us. She has even made us items that are not on the menu! I love how fresh everything is.Their only draw back....their tea, water and soft drinks are not so good. But we don't go for the beverages. When it comes to... More

Fantastic sushi...... But.... You have to try the green mussels! It's the best preparation of the green mussels I have ever had. I keep trying to see if any will ever come close to Sekai but have been sorely disappointed. Yum yum!

Their service was good enough (it was empty), place was clean, open and big; but their food wasn't good, sushi was poorly made, and very loose; flavor wasn't good at all, and water taste even better from the sink than the one they gave me. Won't go back there ever.

HI All, Looking for Sushi is a hard thing to do in AZ. I moved from areas with some good sushi spots. However this one has a few specials as I went at lunch. It is not that bad. Not like 101 is. Yet you need to tell your chef to make it 'wet' or add sauces. Otherwise you will... More
