All the hostesses and waiters and waitresses are friendly and attentive. Winter time it is really busy because Mesa has so many Snowbirds. If you have a larger party call ahead for reservations. Spring and Summer this is our go to place.

The food is good here. Not excellent. The flavors are strong but just different than you expect for each item. The staff you would think is all new. Not sure where to turn, we asked for more chips but never got them. We go back hopeful but are usually slightly disappointed.

Family dinner at Ramos tonight. Carne asada was outstanding.....very authentic in flavor profile and presentation. The chili and grilled green onions had a lot of heat! I love their Mexican rice and beans! Not the typical damp, flavorless tomato-based spanish rice, but a tasty rice sauteed with onion and spiced with cumin. Delicious! Will also recommend the intensely flavorful Chili... More

Read some other critiques of this place and thought the food would be better. I ordered the chicken taco/cheese enchilada combination AND a margarita! I've had great margaritas and although this one (blended) came in a large goblet, it didn't even pack a punch! The taco shell was very thick and very hard to bite into. The salsa was not... More

Despite the bad service we shall return because the food is so good. Dining room was only about 10% capacity. Yet the service was poor. Long wait at table before anyone paid any attention to us. Then took long time to get food. No one checked on us for water refills or desert. Then had to wait about ten minutes... More

We always enjoy our visits. The food is great and the staff is efficient and friendly. We usually have dinner or lunch with 5 other couples. The men sit at one end and the ladies at the other end of the table. We get separate checks by couples and the staff never fusses about this challenge.

My mother has lived in AZ for 40 years, and this is her favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is authentic and delicious, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The menu is extensive, and everything we had was cooked to order. Best Mexican food I've ever had, even in AZ.

Found the restaurant serving very good mexican food. The portions are sumptous and filling. The dessert was good, too!

We saw this restaurant reviewed on a local TV show and thought we would give it a try. The first thing I noticed was the bad smell, it smelled like they needed to clean the AC ducts. We were seated quickly and brought chips and salsa. The furniture was made from home center lumber and a bit beat up. We... More

I'm usually a strict meat n potatoes type. Don't like veggies or don't care for fruit. But when here while visiting and the 6 of us loved it. We had taco's on the street at the fancy place in Scottsdale, wasn't even close. Not fancy but fun atmosphere.
