I have eaten there several times with a group and couples. The service has always been fast and efficient The food came out quickly and was hit and delicious. You almost always have leftovers to take home. We haven’t tried take out or delivery But I have observed a fair amount of takeout.

Visited last evening with a group of family, about eight in the group. The restaurant had been recommended by a relative who had lunch there. Service was excellent. Food came out hot and fresh. Meals were more than plentiful, tasty and the price about 11 dollars. Everyone was more than satisfied with there meal. Egg rolls were so so. Will certainly return.

First, this is rated a 4 because I've only ordered from this restaurant once. We ordered General Tsao's Chicken, Chicken and cashews, couple of egg rolls and an order of steamed dumplings. The General Tsao's was very good, nit much broccoli but plenty of chicken and spice. Seems the bread and fry a whole chicken breast then cut it into pieces. Very good. The steamed dumplings were very good to excellent, temperature hot when they arrived but a little stuck together, not enough to tear each other apart. Flavor was very good. Chicken and cashews was also very good with a nice mix of fresh veggies including zucchini. Not mushy, just a tad past el dente. Sauce was tasty. Over all everything was of high quality and we will be trying more from their menu.

Always enjoy their chefs cooking. Didn’t appear ge was cooking. Or maybe not there anymore. So not good tonight. We order often from our fav Chinese. It was so off The combination fried rice was no flavor. Beef seemed old dry and rice was so so. No as their usual. and egg roll wrapper was stiff and not fresh cooked maybe from yesterday or lunch. Spit it out. Just super hard Sweet and sour chicken was ok. I always ask for homemade hot mustard. Always forget to put in bag. Just throw packets in. Not sure if it’s time to try other genuine Chinese as we need to research I feel bad but this was a no go tonight. Sorry.

My experience always good at Tasty Joes . But last night wonton soup mushy and not fresh. Wontons in broth way too long so evidently not a fresh patch. The fried rice totally bland with tiny minced veggies. We added chicken but no flavor. Calling tomorrow to see if another cook was preparing on Sunday. Not their usual standard of quality. 31.00 for two items was a bit high but it’s never an issue if the taste and quality is there.

I was in the area and I was hungry. Tasty Joe's is a medium sized place - plenty of tables. It is mostly clean, but has a run down look and there's clutter all over the place. That's fine. The staff were friendly, helpful, and prompt. Prices were reasonable, perhaps cheaper than comparable places in Mesa. I rate it low because the food was not very good. I had the Mongolian beef. When it comes out within a few minutes, it doesn't give the impression that it is fresh. Perhaps it was, but it was just bad. It's hard to rate a place from just one visit. This could have been an off night or perhaps it was just this dish. My rating is based upon one visit and one particular dish - so that's a pretty small sample space.

I have been going to Tasty Joe's for several years, and the food is excellent and plentiful. They also have a nice delivery service which is less expensive than the commercial services. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is always clean.
