We arrived just after opening at 11:00 a.m. and were able to sit in a booth. Booths are along west wall and tables in rest of the area. Extensive menu. Prices are determined by which meat is selected, e.g. $10 for chicken, $12 for shrimp. Thai ice tea is $3.25. We always order Thai ice tea in which ever Thai restaurant we are dining. Food was promptly served with provision for mild or spicy. When you find yourself in downtown Mesa at lunchtime, visit Nunthaporns Thai Cuisine, although sign outside saying just Thai Cuisine, conveniently located just a few doors from Center St.

We were going to a Symphony at the Mesa Art Center & we wanted to have dinner prior to performance. Excellent food.
I don't like spicy, therefore, I had Woon -Sen Pad Thai with extremely thin bean noodles
(which I love)! And my husband got a Very Spicy dish, Jungle Curry w/shrimp. Very Reasonable! In fact, we are going again tonight with our friends!

Six of us ladies went here for Thai food. There are two entrances; one on Main Street and the other in the back of the store. They have a private back lot or there is also a huge free parking lot with three and one hour parking spaces.
Staff are masked and will seat you.
There are two staff serving customers so be patient because it’s worth it.
We were all given lunch menus. It was an extensive two page menu considering it was for lunch. Three of us ordered #19 Pad Kee-mao, a flat noodle dish with assorted veggies. This dish has one chili pepper next to it. Some bites will hit you but not too bad. Others ordered basil rice and Evil Jungle Princess.
When the food arrived the fragrant smell was wonderful. The taste was even better. It was an ample lunch dish. The chicken was tender with fresh veggies. Everyone else enjoyed their meals and vowed to return.
A most tasty lunch with friends!

Been there a few times and food was good but not extraordinary. After today I will never return. The restaurant hours are listed at the restaurant and website as closing at 3:00 pm after lunch and reopening at 4:30 pm for dinner. I arrived at 2:30 pm and was told they were already closed! Therefore the hours posted are worthless and they wasted my time. Way to go to anger a Mesa resident who has lots of Mesa neighbors. Had it been 2:55 or later I might have let it slide but if I'm there 30 minutes before a restaurant's posted close I expect them to be open. I will never return and I will tell all of my Mesa neighbors and friends of my unpleasant experience.

Eight of us ladies arrived at the restaurant for lunch.
We were greeted and seated immediately. Water was given along with an extra bottle of cold water.
We decided on Eggplant with ground chicken, Evil Jungle Princess, a noodle dish, basil rice, and Penang shrimp.
The aromas coming from the food was divine. Dishes can be as spicy as you want.
White or brown rice can be ordered.
All the meals were finished and enjoyed.
Another great time with friends.
Street and Shared lot parking.

My friend who lives in Gilbert introduced me to Nunthaporn's and I already want to go back. I live in Utah so that's kind of hard but I hope to return when I'm in the Phoenix area again.
Our food was fresh and delicious. I had Massaman Curry which was full of tender chicken and the sauce was tantalizing. I would have licked the bowl if he wasn't bad manners to do so. My friend had Pad Thai which was also very good. She told me she orders Evil Jungle Princess quite often so I'll try that next time. I wanted a good curry dish and was not disappointed.

The owner was amazing. Loved the fact he said if people wanted to change the ingredients in the dish it changed the dish. Order the food. Love the food It’s delicious. Only downer was could get a drink last year but not this year

While i did not expect steamed veggies and tofu with peanut sauce, i was definitely delighted. The spring rolls were delicious, crispy, and nicely displayed. My husband’s pad Thai did not disappoint. Good service was also a plus. After dinner we walked to the Mesa Arts Center. We will be back.

Although the website indicated this restaurant was closed on Sundays, we were pleasantly surprised to see an "open" sign in the window as we were walking in the neighborhood near the Mesa Arts Center before a concert. We were welcomed warmly and seated without a reservation. The cashew chicken dish I had was delicious!

My sister and I went there tonight 12/29/23 at 6:15p to celebrate my Birthday as we have always done for years. We waited at the podium in the front for about 10 mins. It was a little busy ,so we waited patiently. Another couple came in while we were waiting. The server came to the podium skipped past my sister and I then asked the couple behind us how many in your party. The couple immediately said these ladies are ahead of us. The server then tried to seat us at a small table with one chair. There was a booth right next to the table.I asked if we could be seated there instead. At first she said no because they were busy. Then I asked her, where were you going to seat the couple behind us. She immediately said yes you can sit at the booth. She did not seat the couple at the table she tried to seat us at ,but instead took them to a larger room in the back.
After about 2 minutes of my sister and I trying to process what happened we decided not to eat there. We passed the server on the way out. I told her , her behavior was rude and unprofessional and we were long time customers that will never come back.
We found another Thai restaurant less than 3 miles away with great service and food.

The place serves delightful and tasty Thai food.
The service was very friendly and excellent.
The food was nice and spicy with generous portions and at reasonable costs.
Beer was cheap too.
We stopped in the vicinity hotel during our tour of the West USA.
Highly recommended.

I eat here a couple times a month. I love their food and the service is spot on! Thanks guys for always taking care of me! Highly recommend the Garlic Lovers with extra veggies - Thai Spicy!

Stopped in with another couple for a quick bite before an event. Service was friendly but slow. They do warn you that nothing is prepared ahead of time but we should have come earlier then.
Three of us ordered your basic Thai dishes and they enjoyed them. I wasn't all the hungry so I just ordered chicken Sa-tay. Had to ask for a knife as it was impossible to get the chicken off the skewers. Very little dipping sauce given with it.
Would I go back? Maybe if I was hungry and had the time to enjoy.
