Escauriza is a locally owned restaurant close to the Rosario-Victoria bridge that specializes in fresh river fish. The fish and seafood empanadas were good. The surubi sticks were oily and greasy. The grilled pacu was quite good. Unfortunately, service was spotty and we had to repeat our order several times until they got it right. Worth one visit and that's... More

It was a bit chilly but we still sat outside overlooking the river and the city at lunch. The service was a bit slow, but most people were inside. My colleague and I shared the special for two which was a large fillet of a local river fish. Half with a Gorgonzola cheese sauce and the other half with Parmesan.... More

Nice place, facing the Rio Parana. Only few selection of local fish, but the servings are big. A bit distant from all the other city attractions, but I would come back again...!!

On my first visit to Rosario many friends recommended Escauriza and I am happy I followed their advice. When we arrived to the restaurant they did not have an outside table with a view, so we decided to sit inside, we were seated but in 5 minutes the hostess came to our table and offered a table outside with a... I wasn't wowed by this place, but it was a good dinner nonetheless. We got there early on a Saturday night--around 8 pm-- and found a table. By the time we left not only was it full but there was a line of 50 people waiting outside! The seafood empanadas were very tasty, the grilled Boga fish was slightly overcooked... More
