It used to be a bar with caracter, and a long history of meetings and people who developed their skills at that bar's table. Now it is a soulless trendy place frequented by would be's

We have eaten here so many times, never disappointed. Good quality dishes for a reasonable price. It's a place that can be a full restaurant, a snack corner, a cafe, or a bar all at the same time. El Cairo has lots of space, large windows with plenty natural light. It gets quite crowded at lunch time, but can also... More

Alway love going to El Cairo when visiting Rosario as it has a great local feel, is historical and the food is good. Great location right in the central districts, it's a great stop over for lunch or coffee when about town. Love to just sit and watch the people around me, not a place to go when in a... More

Big restaurant, quick service, the daily menu is good and cheap. Not gourmet. Cultural background. This is to experience rosario as locals do.

The place is very nice, colorful and surrounded by literature. The waitress took too long to take our order so we had to change table to receive better attention... As regards our order, it was fine. smoothies and croissants. In general a nice place, just needs to improve its service... Something i loved was that on TUesdays you can go... More

This place reminds me a bit like Busboys and Poets: a big open space with warm walls, homey decor, comfy wooden tables and chairs and a smattering of leather armchairs and lower tables, warm yet bright lighting and young servers. Coffee is very good, food is good but nothing out of this world...a good place for a relaxing snack or... More

For decades a historical bar, this resto was remodelled several years ago keeping its style. Big windows, great location, good food and a retro style makes the place a good choice, mainly if you´re shopping in town at noon.
