Superb! The best we had in Mendoza!

This little bistro deserves to be better ranked. We tried 4 restaurants ranked top 10 on Trip Advisor during our stay in Mendoza, and none came close to Azafran! The food was tasteful yet delicate. It really felt like every ingredient in each plate was there for a reason, to give you a variety... read more

Fine dining in a really nice dining atmosphere. The decor was eclectic - almost french country. The menu was forward thinking and varied. Semi bistro fare. They have a lot of wonderful wines by the glass which was great for lunch. Its considered one of the better places in Mendoza to eat and reservations are recommended. Open for lunch and... More

What an incredible experience! My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant as we were exploring streets near our hotel in Mendoza. Excellent food, great service. Definitely order a bottle of wine and experience the wine cellar!

I ate here twice for lunch during my visit to Mendoza recently. The food and wine were really fabulous. I like that they have a wine room where you can go pick out a bottle to go along with the meal. The menu ejecutivo for lunch is a winner. It is much less than the cost of a winery lunch... More

Very very nice. Had full lunch today, wine selection excellent, Salads and appetizers very creative and delicious, as was the main course. I am sure we will go back while we are in Mendoza. Not a Snobbish place; Probably one of the best restaurants in all places we have been; Europe, Americas, and Down Under. The service was superb, courteous... More

Delicious. The wine suggestion from the waiter was fantastic, the service was impeccable, and the food was the best we've had yet in Argentina. The combination of cooked and raw vegetables in my salad was yummy with a nice light dressing. The pasta with caper sauce well also light and flavorful - the shells were baked to a nice consistency.... More

Fun place, pick your own wine bottle from their cellar, good food and service. Easy walking from Park Hyatt Hotel.

I had heard about azafran on previous visits to mendoza but could never get it. I finally had a reservation and was looking forward to it. I am a foodie but not into the subleties of expensive wine. The food was just ok. I ordered a small dinner green dinner salad which was boring and was about 10 dollars. I... More

The inside dining area looks really nice and food is good, not sensational but good. I went for seafood / fish (too much meat...) and liked the pasta with the seafood a lot. Also I had excellent wine recommendation. Tuna tartar was ok. Bread as a starter nice (not the sensation I thought reading other comments but still nice). You... More

We had 2 couples who went here for dinner. We were warmly greeted and surprised to learn that you walk into a separate wine room to discuss with the sommelier your pairings. We had a wonderful Malbec and then a great Cabernet. Food was also delicious. My husband and I shared the rabbit empanadas for an appetizer, then shared the... More
