we stopped off here for lunch after a visit to Carmelo Patti's winery, and as recommended by Carmelo. It was so unexpected on many levels - quirky and fun - lots of different rooms and areas. The place appeared to be closed, but they accommodated us, I think, because the wonderful Carmelo had sent us. They made us a super... More

Our hotel owner made us a reservation. When we arrived at 20:30 the place was closed. Try to call them but no reaction. We called our hotel and they try to call the restaurant but they also couldn't reach them anymore.

More

We did not go here to visit the bodega but rather for lunch. They had two set lunch menus on offer. We went for the cheaper option for $170 pesos. For this we got a starter, main course, desert, bottle of wine and a jug of water. Overall the quality was excellent. Lovely bread, cheese and meat platter to start.... More

Incredibly genuine and restored 'rancho' experience with fantastic wine and vast assortment of food that you have to see and experience to believe. Gorgeous settings, wonderful service and excellent food. You start the meal with a variety of pre-prepared little bowls of an astonishing variety of foods: rice, millet, beans, roasted sweet potato, delicious pickled eggplant, carrot, olives, sun dried... We had a weekday lunch here based on a recommendation from the hotel concierge. I let him know afterwards that this place should be off his recommend list. Its set menu, always the same. You cannot order all a carte. Everybody eats the same thing. You are escorted into your own private dining area with the table already set with... More

It's the perfect place to go with a group of friends or work partners. Special regional food, very well made and presented, specially the "nibbling" part. You can also learn a little bit of professional wine tasting!

We chose the option which included a main course (beef stew and a plain tomato pasta) but we really didn't need it. There are so many starters that they literally cover the entire table - it's amazing! The menu is set but the starters are mostly vegetarian (only the cold meats and 1 other meat dish that I couldn't eat)... More

Was fortunate enough to eat here for lunch when my wine tour guide took us here. We thoroughly enjoyed it. All the appetizers that are offered, I can't imagine anyone wouldn't find things they like. Just know it's all appetizers--no full meal that I remember. Thanks Pedro for taking us here!

I had the pleasure to have lunch at Cava de Cano with a bunch of friends recently. When I walked in an saw all the appetizers on the table, I was almost in shock. Cheese, meats, vegetables of many types, nuts, everything. The empanadas were among the best I had in South America, and the beef stew was delicious. A... More
