Favorite restaurant in Bahia Blanca, Service is slow ( standard for the area) but the food is fairly decent as are the prices. Good staff also.

Very nice restaurant, with initial German founder but with the great blend of a later take over by a Spanish owner. Established in the late 19 century is a traditional place in the city. A must visit place for good living pleople when coming to Bahia blanca.

If you are ever in Bahia Blanca, you must eat at Gambrinaus! What a gem, excellent food, especially the fried calamari, and meats like bife de chorizo, and the escalope dishes were delicious. The staff was exceptional too. Ask for our amigo, Louis! Very helpful and not afraid to recommend something you are sure to like. This is one of my favorite... More

We were here for lunch. As starters we had the chicken "escuveche" and the squid. Both OK, but the squid clearly better than the chicken. I will order that again. Then for main we had the cooked ham with sauerkraut. The ham was delicious, the sauerkraut was good (but luke warm instead of cooking hot), the potato salad was cold... More

Ok, it is day 2 in Argentina on a 5-week stay. Using a guide book and directions from oh so helpful locals we found the side street where the restaurant is and get a very nice table at Gambrinus. Black raviolio for my husband and I had a pork dish. DELICIOUS. Attentive service; we do speak Spanish well enough to... More

Typical Italian trattoria! Food is excellent and abundant; easy to get indigestion for eating too much. Staff is highly qualified and professional. I came 3 or 4 times in a week!

We are returning to Bahia Blanca in October 2013 for the first time in 12 months and cannot wait to enjoy the Gambrinus experience. The food might not be Michelin starred, but the fare is excellent, the wine list is representive of Argentina and the service is outsanding.

Old school of argentinean's cousine. Centenaries waiters too. Founded in 1890 it is a mix of restaurant and pub (Restaurente y Cervecería). Good meals (pasta, fish, meats, etc.), fair prices, very old style place. Prove Don Pedro, it is a tipical argentinean's dessert which has ice cream and whisky. If you are just dropping by the city and just have... More
