As a solo traveler with minimal language skills to jump into a Bar is a leap of faith I was more than sympathetically looked after and by my 3rd visit accepted as part of the furniture knowing everyone by name and places into prime spots...More

Very cozy and friendly one block off Florida on San Martin. Great atmosphere, and excellent food. Had Fricassee de Pollo and an Otra Mundo brown ale.

Delicious food and spectacular service. I have visited here on several occasions and have always been impressed with the quality of the food and the consistency of the service. I had the most delicious bifa de lomo with dauphinois potatoes accompanied by a smooth Saint...More

Visited based on TripAdvisor review. It is a nice bar with great staff and a good atmosphere. What was good was the service and the decor. What was disappointing was the food. It was the worst meal I had in over a week in Buenos...More

This is probably the very 1st TA Certificate of Excellence that I do not agree with. The only pros were friendly staff and very good food presentation. Cons are: too crowded, too loud, overpriced - dishes looked much better than tasted. Maybe in 2014 everything...More

A very friendly small place which is mainly, I think, frequented by locals for the terrific cocktails. But there is a decent menu at good prices and provided you are not looking for haute cuisine then it is worth a visit. Be warned though ,...More

Went there based on the excellent reviews. Small, narrow (don’t seat in the middle since you will be bumped all the time by waiters or patrons trying to squeeze in between your table and patrons at the bar). Very small menu, both meat orders, lomo...More

The food was definitely average. Ambiance is more like a bar. Go for the young in crowd. The steak was tough and fat. Price was not cheap. There are better ones not far from there.

Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings
combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to
make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy
sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to
and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied
by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the
port, mean this neighborhood is never truly at rest.

We arrived early both times we went there, so we didn't need a reservation. ("Early" in Buenos Aires isn't very early compared to the USA.)
