My husband and I visited this place for dinner and both ordered steak and Malbec. This was possibly the best steak I have every had! Absolutely delicious, could not fault it in anyway. The service was quick and attentive. The atmosphere was cosy and casual. We paid with visa which was no problem. I would highly recommend this place to... More

My boyfriend and I read about Dada in our travel guidebook and decided to give it a try. The moment we walked in the door I knew we made the right choice. Super cozy, full of locals, smells delicious. We got the booth in the back, and the waiter was so accommodating, us with our broken Spanish and him speaking... More

It's a bar, it's a bistro, it's restaurant. In the center of MIcrocentro. You become easily addicted because of the friendly atmosphere. Nice place, nice people. Mostly locals and easy to chat.

I have to thank Trip Advisor for locating this for us. I walked out of the Pacifico Shopping Mall and found this just a short walk up the street. Our party of six were the first for lunch. Our waiter (probably the head waiter) was originally from Newcastle so was able to help us with the Spanish menu. The food... More

Cool little restaurant where the locals go. Had a great steak, very filling. Also they give you tuna pate instead of butter to go with your bread basket!

A nice dijon sirloin stake with sweet potatoes purée and green salad very well accompanied by good selection of Argentinian wine. All delicious I'm a friendly atmosphere as if you were in a french bistro. No fancy stuff just good food and the perfect price!

As a solo diner, I really appreciate restaurants that make me feel welcome and comfy. The staff at Dada was warm and helpful, even though I stumbled through what few words of Spanish I could muster ... and no doubt mispronounce! I had a ribeye, glass of wine and a Dulce de Leche dessert. All were wonderful. I especially loved... More

Staying in Retiro

Neighborhood Profile
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighborhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
