This is an interesting little restaurant. It has an Italian style mixed with Argentinian. The food is good and comforting and the atmosphere is great. Good cool jazz music in the back ground. It is small and crowded which lends to its ambience. The service on the night was friendly and prompt. It's not a place to linger over a... More

You wouldn't be drawn in from the look of the bistro...we were recommended by friends. Chairs were all different and torn...toilets were at the back and so dark you could hardly see. The waiter Marcel was super friendly and helpful For one main course each with drinks it was £35 each person including tip The food was great ...steaks were... More

Seriously just had the best steak with a mustard sauce and felt that I had to write the review while I had the taste in my mouth and the memory strong in my mind. It was fantastic. The steak was tender, flavorsome and a great portion for the price. Don't really want to tell everyone how good this place is... More

Ojo de bife was amazing with the salsa, potatoes, and greens. We also got a brie salad and that was enough food for us. Portions are huge. They gave us hummus and bread for free while we waited and offered us drinks after we paid the bill. The bar is a friendly spot with great restaurant food. Highly recommended as... More

We went for a late lunch, and the staff were really friendly. The Ojo de Bife was so good- definitely worth getting (especially over the lomo). The flavoring and tenderness of the steak were so good. The risotto was also very flavorful and a good choice.

Had a lovely steak here with work colleagues. Nice friendly stafff and good wines. The place is tiny but the staff make up for it with personality.

English is spoken; friendly and quick service. We were there at 19:30. They serve a small dish of Humus and Olive oil plus dipping bread while your food is being prepared. There seemed to be a repeat and friendly clientele around the bar. A serving of Ojo de Bife that we split was $338 (normally $298) but had more sides... More

I had a longer stay in Buenos Aires and my hotel was in the same road as Dada. The first evening in BA I went to Dada and it was excellent. So excellent that I went there 5 times more. A most 'Go'

We ate at Dada three times (2 dinners and 1 lunch) when we were in Buenos Aires for 5 days. It is a small restaurant and bar and fills up fast, so it is easiest to get a table before 7 p.m. which is early for dinner in Buenos Aires. Their beef dishes are incredible. Be sure to order the... More

Staying in Retiro

Neighborhood Profile
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighborhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
