Great food for reasonable prices. The waitress was quick and kind. We ordered bife de chorizo and baked potato with special filling. We really loved both the meat and the potato. The prices are not high, especially in comparison with other BsAs restaurants in the...centre. The only thing that surprised us unpleasantly was the fee of 400 ARS for the table service. We didn't notice any info on that in the menu...More

Simple restaurant and amazing food. It doesn't look fancy and it isn't. Waiters are very charismatic, but some time a bit careless. Prices are fair. But the bottom line is: best steak I ate in Buenos Aires.

The staff did their best to communicate with us since we didn't speak much Spanish. They were pleasant and our meal arrived quickly. I rate the food average for what we had in Argentina. I am normally vegan, but had grilled chicken and vegetables. It...was good but nothing special. My travel partner had a ribeye based on the waitress' recommendation. He said it was quite average and wished he'd had a strip instead.More

My husband and I traveled to Argentina for our honeymoon and after doing extensive research on the local eateries, came to Santos Manjares for dinner one night. The staff were all extremely friendly and attentive and seemed very happy. We ordered the chicken and vegetables,...a bottle of Malbec wine, and the steak with french fries. My husband loves steak and is quite picky about its preparation. With that being said, he said that the steak at Santos Manjares was in the top three best steaks he's ever had. It cut like butter and melted in your mouth unlike any steak we'd ever had. The price was so reasonable, he even considered ordering a second one because it was that delicious. He decided against ordering another, but regretted that when we returned on the weekend only to discover that they were closed on Sundays. Either way, he was extremely pleased with the preparation of his steak and the overall experience. We would love to visit again in the future!More

We went to this place because of all the good reviews. Our experience was not good. The ribeye was tough and tasteless with gristle that was just not edible. The meat was ordered “a punto” but came way over well done.

I am a tough critic and very hard to please individual, but I have to say this place lived up to the hype given by most of the reviews here. I'm very glad I took the time to walk up to this part of the...city to have lunch at this establishment. The waitresses could not have been more friendly and helpful. I had the lomo, mashed pumpkin, and some Malbec. Each was excellent. Was it the best steak I've ever had? I wouldn't go that far since I've been fortune to dine on a vast variety of steaks in my time, but I would say it was definitely in the top 15 to 20% of steaks that I have had. And as many have said here, the price/quality ratio is extremely hard to beat. Unless I'm just lucky they gave me a great piece of meat that day or someone just isn't in the know, you are sure to have a really good meal without breaking your wallet here!More

Santos Manjares is a small, basic restaurant that I would never have found without local recommendation. Popular almost exclusively with Porteños, it has no pretensions to style, but does have superb food at very reasonable prices. Service is friendly and swift, the atmosphere welcoming, I...would never go anywhere else again for a bife de lomo or an entraña.More

One of the best beefs I ever had. Perfectly made. Great service. though I spoke rudimentary spanish. Perfectly medium rare beef. Very fast service. God wine list. A lot of wines in half bottles. I had a beef at least 400g with french fries and...sallad and a half bottle of wine for 25£. Bargain! I can´t say nothing but perfect..I recommend this place.More

I guess we had tenderloin medallions. Good, but a little over-cooked. Nice meal with salad and fries for low cost. Reasonable location near our Marriott.

16 months since last visit due to Covid. Things are slowly getting back to the norm at BA. Happy to see Santos Manjares is opened back up, unfortunately many other establishments are closed permanently. As always, food was spot on, service was excellent, business was...very slow for obvious reasons, price remained the same (maybe little cheaper) with the current exchange rate, Please don't hesitate and support SM if you get a chance, you won't regret dinning here.More
