Visited this restaurant twice while I was in Buenos Aires. I had lasagna on one visit and linguini on the second. Both were excellent. Great flavor and it was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is nice and the service was excellent.

If you want to taste a good version of italian food cooked in a creative argentinean way and if you want to avoid the classic steaks, this is the place to be. Nice setup, very good cava and interesting plates - it's worthy to visit it and after your food, taste a great grapa and have a nice walk at... More

The seafood dishes were amazing!!!!! I had the best shrimp I've eaten in years (and I've visited many, many places all over North and South America and Europe)!! The shrimp was probably even better than the Gaston restaurant in Arequipa, Peru (and his river shrimp was to die for). Pasta dishes were also excellent!

Arrived for dinner late as is the norm in Argentina but were seated promptly. Even though its more of an upscale restaurant they were welcoming as we arrived with a 1 yr old. The atmosphere: - excellent lighting design, not too bright as to make it cold and impersonal, dark enough to make it cozy and intimate - stunning view... More

la parolaccia is a pasta restaurant that has different location, this one in particularly is located in the center of buenos aires , at puerto madero, great to enjoy a fine dinning experience and then take a walk on the most modern side of the city

I have eaten here multiple times for lunch with a work crowd. The food is of good quality but in my experience not consistent - same dishes are slightly different every visit. Menu is in Italian, but waitstaff are not very friendly or efficient. Plan on 90 mins minimum for a meal.

Nice, upscale Italian restaurant. Fresh food, wonderful location on Puerto Madero. Good ambient for all occasions. A bit pricy, but worth it.

Feeling a little bit of meat overindulgence? Then this will be your salvation. The Grilled seafood platter with all of those scallops and langostines are just what you should seek. Not to mention the squid ink linguine with mussles and calamari. The staff is more than helpful along with a great wine list of local vino.

The place is nice. It has great views and different set ups to accommodate different types of parties, like booths, round big tables, small regular tables. The menu has different alternatives for the different tastes. Really tasty plates and bread. We were there as a business lunch, in a party of 7, which means a more than average check. Despite... This place was recommended by both our guide and our hotel. On the water, NY decor, great waiters, amazing wine and fabulous pasta. We tried both a white and red sauce….preferred the white (with portabella mushrooms) under specialties. Freshest pasta ever!!

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighborhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighborhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolize this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
