One of the best meals we have had in Buenos Aires. The bread was amazing!, Beef Carpacio excellent, Caprese excellent, Ravioli excellent, Rib Eye steak was good and cooked to perfection, desserts excellent! Would recommend and would go back again!

This elegant neighborhood restaurant has a lively atmosphere. Not trendy, but usually packed with locals. Love the "Gnochi de semola". All pasta dishes are fantastic. We went with a group of 4 and everyone loved it.

We have been to Buenos Aires many times over the last 15 years. This is hands down our favorite restaurant in town. Not a bad thing on the menu. Homemade Pastas, fresh fish selection Wed-Sat and classic meat dishes as well. Service is wonderful and ambience like a fine Italian restaurant. People are in jeans and suits for lunch or... More

We really enjoyed sitting outside with the view of the waterway. The food was good and staff friendly. Pricy.

We enjoyed a fine dining experience (thought the heater was set a little bit too high), very nice entrees and pasta dishes (the spaghetti al fungi was great); they had a bit of a confusion and delay in serving the dessert, but that didn't spoil the experience.

My wife and I went there as it was a walking distance from our hotel. Pasta was homemade, al dente and very exquisite. Nice ambience, very attentive staff. We love it, bit pricey though.

We got there almost 15:30. Nice ambience and good service. Very friendly. We ordered a Coteletta Milanese and a Nhoque de Semolina. Food was tasty. The beef should be less dry and they could work better on the salad that comes with it.

Food is great, try the gnocchi di semola. Something my grandma use to cook. All pasta is great. Service is great. The restaurant itself is kind of outdated, however it is not a trendy place to go. Rather a good place to have some honest italian food at reasonable prices with great quality.

Staying in Recoleta

Neighborhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
