The chorizo and the tira were amazing! Great steak, great quality! Chinchulin and molleja were just ok, not grilled to my liking, but everything else was wonderful! I would definitely go back again!

Okay the happy hour is from 6.30 to 8pm but I arrived at 6.15 and there was only one other couple. By 6.30 there was at least 10 people and the manager said a few more minutes so at 6.41,we were let into the restaurant. They have two restaurants so don't be panicing! I sat just in the middle at... The restaurant was recommended by a friend from whom we had only gotten top notch recommendations, but unfortunately this was clearly not one of them. Neither the service nor the food were anything to write home about. The waiter was unfriendly at best and everything we asked for seemed like a burden. The place was packed and we got the... More

I'm not a big meat eater but the steak I had at La Cabrera was absolutely delicious: juicy, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection! Accompaniments where just as tasty and service was great. Prices were unbelievable- bottle of wine, steak, sides and appetizers for around $30USD a person. Service was great as well. They check on you, but leave you... More

Great atmosphere, service and of course food!! Sooo much food!!! Steak was perfect and i would recommend the yummy empanadas too. I would recommend not going solo as they bring out so much yummy breads, dips and sides that I just could not eat!!

You may have to wait a while but you can usually put your name down and go away for a drink etc. Great service and atmosphere. Prices have gone up since my first visit 5years ago but still the most amazing steak and characteristically huge Argentinian portions. Wine selection also very good. Definitely worth a visit!

We returned here after an absence of 8 years. Arrived at 7 pm for the happy hour. First off the waiter tried the hard sell on the wines. Rejecting his "advice" we chose a reasonably priced Malbec which was ok. Ordering the large bife de chorizo we were expecting great things. Sadly we were disappointed. VERY disappointed. The steak was... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
