We visite La Cabrera after receiving good indications from close friends and we did not regret. Tasty "Ojo de Bife" (medium - 400g) followed by fries with caramelized onions. Tons of stuff started to be placed over our table (all were incredibly tasteful) among with slices of bread. The wine (Killka) was really cheap (considering its a restaurant) and was... More

While somewhat expensive for Argentine standards, the food and service were both excellent and you will confirm why this is the highest rated parilla in the country.

We ate at both La Cabrera's. This one because of the 40% discount between 7 and 8. Amazing value, food was still great. But if You don't have to worry about cash, the Norte is bigger and a better atmosphere in my eyes. Also you are not as rushed! But both are great.

Hi La Cabrera Sur also has a stylish boutique sister La Cabrera Norte. Both have similar menus but we preferred the boutique Norte restaurant 2 doors away. Great whimsical decor and lots of sides to accompany your meals. Not cheap but excellent quality and no one goes hungry most portions are big enough to share. A really run experience in... More

Our meal was huge, beautiful Argentina beef. Luckily, we decided to share but still unable to finish the meal. Wait staff absolutely amazing and so welcoming.

Food was ok, the 4(!) separate waiters that pounced on us in the first 10 minutes each recommended different expensive wines, and the steak was good but nothing extraordinary. Expensive. I've had a more enjoyable dining experience elsewhere for 1/2 the price.

After travelling South America for 16 months, we thought we would treat ourselves to a really good steak on our last night before returning home, and this came highly recommended by some friends. We found La Cabrera to be pretty good, but overpriced and not really worth all the hyperbole. We shared a rib-eye steak, which was plenty for two... More

Went originally for a group dinner. Had an awesome parrillada that I decided to return for lunch a few days later before I departed BA. The portion sizes were bigger than I expected and the food even tastier than the group dinner. The steak was cooked to perfection and did not require any additional seasoning or a drop of chimichuri.... More

If you like steak this is the place to go. Steaks are huge! Biggest I've ever seen. It's not too expensive and it's won loads of awards. It's worth making a trip to. Just remember to go hungry and don't fill up on bread. They also do a happy hour 6.30 to 8.

the meat is good, the service poor, not cheap, but it's fun to go because sometimes you meet stars, singers or models which gives it a cool atmosphere

Neighborhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
