Finally got to the infamous Cabrera as a walk up single and coincidentally got the most romantic table outside by the Calle . Sad For me I was solo but this was my only opportunity and this place was a must go ;). For a Tuesday night at 19:30 the place was bustling like you probably have heard about with... More

We had a delicious meal here our fist night in BA. The steak is of course outstanding as was the baked provolone appetizer! The atmosphere was lively and casual and the service very good despite the restaurant being very crowded.

This place is on the edge of becoming a victim of its own popularity. Wildly popular among both locals and tourists, it can be booked out days in advance, yet many people do not show up and staff is able to accomodate walk-ins in an organised manner, although waiting time for a table may take up to 45 mins.or even... We had booked to go to San Juan for dinner and by chance fell on La Cabrera Sur so stopped for lunch. Well we really did things wrong. The San Juan was very poor but the Cabrera excellent. The atmosphere was great. The menu interesting and very generous portions. They were so large we shared them for two. Everything was... More

The food was fine, not perfect. I think we had better steak in Amsterdam. But the service was horrible for the price you pay. We saw our waiter accidentaly dropped bread on the floor and he put it back in the basket for a new table! He also continuously gave us the feeling that he was in a hurry to... More

This restaurant is very nice for high quality local foods. One piece of advice, be sure to be hungry and don't fill up on the fresh bread or breadsticks with those accompaniments there's a lot more to try. They also bring little dishes of a variety of salads and such so it's very easy to be full before your meal... More

Visited a few years ago. This was my wife's choice. A fun night. Great quality meats and sides. Lively atmosphere in the restaurant and neighbourhood. Make sure to make a reservation. I requested our meat medium rare. In Argentina meat is often cooked medium to medium well. Enjoy.

We were three people. We ordered one portion of chorizo and morcillas (bllod susage), asado and chicken brochette, two bottles of run-of-the mill wine and mineral water plus coffee. The portions were all generous, they served some sort of side orders with different sort of vegetables but he chorizo (Argentine sausage) were not such but something close but that is... More

I had previously visited this restaurant several years ago, and had a great time and wonderful memories. However, this time, quite the opposite. We took advantage of the reduced price 7pm - 8pm dining option (we had been assured several times that everything on the menu would be 40% off). To cut a long story short, we basically got given... Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
