Sarkis is a popular Armenian restaurant in Palermo, It’s cheap, the servings are exceptional and, most importantly, the food is mouth watering . Thanks to a large Armenian community in Buenos Aires, number of restaurants in Palermo Soho area serving Armenians delectable Greek/Middle-Eastern style food, at night the long lines outside of Sarkis which and less crowded during the lunch... The food here is delicious and very well-priced, just be ready to wait an hour or more for your table! We put our name in and went around the corner to have a beer while we waited so it worked out perfectly. The staff were really nice and were helpful in the decision of how much / what to order... The reviews are so good so we re looking forward to a break from other restaurant choices in Palermo. WE are vegetarian and maybe the meat eaters have better luck. We asked for 2 glasses of water so our waiter plopped down a bottle and left. He brought the wrong beer but we drank it anyway. The falafal was dry... More

Unfriendly service. Not in and of itself a killer but for the price you can do much better in Buenos Aires. We are fluent Spanish speakers, had no problem ordering, but received the wrong drinks. As far as food goes, the bread is quite poor, hard and flavorless. Our salad was poor. The falafel was decent but nothing exceptional. I... More

One of the best restaurants in Buenos Aires is not a steak house but an Armenia's food. Year after year, Sarkis keeps the food experience unforgettable. A must and a gem (with good prices). Go and be happy!

Excellent place to go with a lot of friends and enjoy ethnic food like Syrian-Lebanese. Belen salad for entrance and kafka for principal dish are good election

After reading so many reviews I can say that it certainly is a very popular restaurant. It was busy by 8.30pm on a Tuesday night. We had an attentive waiter and the food I ordered was tasty (Kafta al fierrito completo) and the half portion was more than enough for my hungry stomach. The party I was with all enjoyed... More

We went to this restaurant after reading rave reviews on TA. TA was correct in saying that there always is a line (no matter what time you get there). We showed up 5 min to 2000 (8:00 pm) the time they open. We had a 20-30 min wait. There were empty tables, but they were calling each group one at... More
