I had great expectations for the restaurant after reading reviews. Was a bit disappointed. If you like everything smothered in yoghurty sauce this place is for you. The falafel was excellent and requires a mention but it would be better if the sauce came on the side rather than over them. We had feta which had no taste. Hummous was... More

Food is excellent, the place is big, service is very good but if you didnt book in advance, be prapared to wait for at least an hour to get in. Good place to go in big groups, plates are good and there are many options for vegetarians. Another thing to keep in mind is that they onlyn take cash.

Knowing that there are good middle east restaurants in Buenos Aires I asked a friend and he directed me to Sarkis. The food experience is great, all the traditional receipts are in the menu, I tried quite a few of them and they were all delicious. As some others reviewers said the service is not the best but in my... More

In a drizzle Monday while all Argentina weeped it's second in a row lost final match of the American's Football Cup against our country Chile, we decided to visit this prized Armenian Restoran located for forty years in the outskirts of today's Palermo SoHo. Even though the streets were empty this place was crowded. Not credit cards allowed is the... More

Good food, good price, good service. The only disadvantage is that as everything is so good you can only pay cash and have to wait almost 1 hour for a table. But there are chairs outside and many people waiting!

I am just gonna start by saying that I am from the Middle East and I have tried almost everything on Sarkis' menu back in my country. To be honest, the food is great. The falafel is one of the best I've eaten. The appetizers, main courses and desserts are all impeccable. I also don't have a problem with the... More

This restaurant is Armenian and focuses on Middle Eastern Cuisine. The wait is long as the restaurant doesn't open until 8 and people gather there well before that. But the food is so good, the wait is worth it. The falafels are a must-have, even if you are a meat lover. Half-orders of some dishes allow a couple or table... More

Coming late-(ish) (11:45) we heard it was pretty hard to et a seat so we're looking at takeaway. Upon entering we saw a few spare tables and it smelt too good to leave. We order X two entrees and shared the main of beef on a stick and went nowhere near finishing the meal as it was so big. The... More

We visited a number of highly rated restaurants in Buenos Aires. This was the only one where there was a substantial line waiting for the restaurant to open on a week night and where that line continued through the evening. Fortunately, they are big enough to handle a crowd. We arrived at 7:45, put our name on the list and... More

Once you get your fill of huge steaks, go to Sarkis for a bit of variety. Great selection of middle eastern dishes, including many vegetarian. Chicken in yogurt sauce, babaganoush, we're some of the stand outs but every dish was quite tasty and enjoyable. It's one of the most popular restaurants in B.A. so arrive early (8pmish) or be prepared... More
