The place is good. The food is nice and not pricy. Make sure you get here at 8 pm to get a place for dinner. It was good that we tried the starters Must visit to have Armenian food with a argentina twist

We went to this restaurant after reading rave reviews on TA. TA was correct in saying that there always is a line (no matter what time you get there). We showed up 5 min to 2000 (8:00 pm) the time they open. We had a 20-30 min wait. There were empty tables, but they were calling each group one at... More

The place does not take reservations (at least for dinner), it opens its doors at 8:00pm. Make sure you are there 7:45pm. We got there at 7:45pm and there was a bunch of people (around 70 people) were already waiting for the place to open the doors. You have to make your way to the door and give your name... More

After reading the reviews we turned up at 8.30 to avoid the queue and still had a 25 minute wait! There isn't a bar nearby you can go to but plenty of seats in their waiting area and you can order a drink at the bar if you'd like. We ordered a few things from the menu to share and... More

You may have to wait a bit for a table, but it is well worth it. We ordered numerous dishes - veggies with yogurt sauce, beef kabobs, roasted eggplant, etc. and everything was terrific. The wine list has great, inexpensive local wines and our server made some awesome recommendations. Very friendly staff and a great mix of local patrons -... More

Arriving at 8 (when they open) surprisingly didnt resulted in a place right away, but waiting for 1,5 hour was worth it. The food is really tasty and I wonder how they make it for this price. We had 4 entradas to share but they were so big! I saw most people sharing 2 of those and afterwards one main... More

First thing I learned: arrive early or make a reservation. Sarkis is popular and rightly so. Interior of this traditional Armenian restaurant is simple but bright. Atmosphere was brilliant, all guests seemed to have a very good time. Serivce is very good, staff are friendly. There is a wide selection of Armenian dishes. The skewers I had were made of... More

I went to Sarkis twice, both times with friends, it has a really nice atmosphere, good quality food and fair prices, so I can definitely recommend it. The only thing is that they don't accept reservations and you have to queue up for at least an hour to get a table on a Friday or Saturday night, but then again... More

I visited this highly popular restaurant offering Armenian cuisine on a Monday and whilst arriving around 8.30pm found a table no problem, by an hour later the place was pretty full. By all accounts, there are long queues at the weekend so making a reservation is important here. The menu is extensive and the portions large so sharing is recommended.... More

Sarkis is one of those restaurants that everyone has gone to for years and is always packed because it maintains high quality food, reasonable prices and is casual and has a good vibe. The menu is filled with classic Armenian dishes, all generous portions and to be shared. Three starters and 1 main dish will be more than enough for... More
