Mishiguene is a Jewish restaurant, meaning you get tons of carbs -- the meat or fish dishes are few on the menu. Flavors a bit bland. Still, the presentation, atmosphere and dessert selections were fun and comfortable. I will would recommend, but be alert to...More

Had a lovely dinner at Mishiguene. The food was inventive and creative. We loved every bite we ate. The staff were very friendly and helpful steering us to some of the best dishes to try. The setting feels like a bistro in Paris. Highly recommend.

We went to Mishiguene last night on a recommendation from our tour guide to take a break from traditional local cuisine (which we love). I suggest previewing the menu on line before your visit if you are not fluent in Spanish as there is no...More

I can’t praise this place enough. The service is impeccable, the wine list and recommendations perfect, the food is on another level. Although the dishes on the menu seem expensive, they are very filling and substantial without looking big. On one visit we ordered the...More

Host was very rude. Called a liar. Said emails “didn’t go through” despite no error messages and responses on the same chain about reservation time. Worst treatment by a hostess I have gotten anywhere in the world.

We went to this restaurant at the suggestion of a friend. What a surprise! We were assisted by a friendly waitress, because we could not recognize any dish on the menu. All in all, although we had no clue what we were going to eat,...More

We arrived with no reservation and had to sit at the bar. Little did we know we were in for a treat. The bar man Nicolas looked after us, explained all the dishes and was always there for us. The dishes were outstanding, and so...More

Very cool restaurant, great food and an even better vibe. Sat at the bar to eat which was fine, as the barman was extremely attentive and gave good recommendations for both food and drink. The restaurant was full and has great decor inside. Ordered a...More

Jewish cuisine is one of the widest culinary maps. Forced into exile, the Jewish people have taken root throughout the world often reaching these new homes with only a book of prayers and a heart full of recipes, aromas and traditions. Mishiguene is our house and the summary of all that history. We set out to bring those forgotten recipes to the present, those that our grandmothers did when we were children and also the recipes that they never prepared. We wanted Mishiguene to be a party, like a Jewish wedding, but without the bride and groom; that has everything we like about our culture: music, vodka, our grandmothers ... and of course the food. All this from the porteno optics, our immigrant look, because in Mishiguene we are immigrants.
