We had lots of drinks here and loved the ambience, history and clientele! Made the mistake of having some pasta here one night - truly awful! Just kept to the drinks thereafter - much better places to eat nearby.

We were greeted by a very overbearing waitress who tried to tell us what to order, a recommendation is always good but we felt we were being pressured into choosing a more expensive option. We did order their homemade filled pasta with pesto "sauce"; we...More

I’m not one to write bad reviews unless it is really deserved. We were told this cafe had good coffee so we stopped by. It took a good 20 minutes to even see a menu. Once we ordered the food and drinks didn’t take too...More

Love the historical value and the décor! Had beer and a hamburger there. The hamburger was very dry, but it's a cute place and the service is good.

Setting is nice in what appeared to be a classical place for lunch. Extensive menu with lots of options. Not sure whether it's a general issue or because the place was full, but the service was average or less. Barely anyone spoke English and no...More

I could spend hours here. It feels like the type of cafe that Hemingway would write a novel in while drinking copious a lints of coffee and wine. We came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning before hitting the San Telmo Fair. We had...More

We stopped by here for a quick lunch after walking the whole morning in the city. The interior and atmosphere of the bar is good. Also the prices are reasonable. The food however is horrible. My GF had a pasta that was defrosted and watery...More
