We got the right balance of spice and taste in what we ordered. The food was enough for us. Gravy, Biriyani, Breads, and Desserts were too good. Suggestion: please add rasmalai to your menu.

I went there with my family and we had a nice time. The food is quite okay ( not the best indian food I ever had… the rice was not basmati, just regular white rice) , the lentils were yummy and the naan was really good. We had Tarjeta La Nacion which gave us a 40% discount. We had one... More

Went with my boyfriend. Waiter made a deal about a discount coupon I had. Then when the bill came they didn't give the discount properly and they made my coupon disappear... Food ok but not brilliant... and way to expensive... plus i didn't like how they tried to cheat with the discount.

Not genuine 100% Indian food, but yet very acceptable, in a city not known for its indian immigrants. I've had Indian food in every city of the world where I could find it, and this one is average. The only complaint I have is that the food is not spicy enough.

We recently returned back to Washington DC from after a weeks vacation in BA. Being of Indian extraction, in all new cities, my family samples at least one indian restaurant, partly to satiate the senses, and partly to get a feel of quality of indian food in the different cities. Taj Mahal disappoints ! Positive aspects first. The restaurant is... More

My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant with 2 friends as 1 was craving Indian cuisine. We ordered the mixed starter of meats, and a side of samosas and the quality of meat was excellent, all very tasty. We ordered 3 curries to share for mains - chicken, lamb, prawn, and rice with naans on the side. These... More

One of the rituals my husband and I have when we travel to a new city/country is to check out the local Indian restaurants. As a vegetarian, Indian restaurants are someplace I always know I'll be able to get something to eat. It's also interesting to check out local interpretations of dishes. Being foreigners, we showed up pretty early -... More

we love indian food, and this place was pretty awesome. Kind of pricy, but worth it. I recommend the lentils.

Having been in Buenos Aires for just over two months, my girlfriend and I really fancied a decent Indian meal. I looked through reviews on several places in BA and the Taj Mahal sounded the best. We ordered three dishes from the menu - one main for me and two starters for my girlfriend, asking for them to arrive together.... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
