Located close to aeroparque, local airport, in Costanera by the Rio de La Plata. Large scale restaurant. Very dark. Busy. Slow service. High prices. Meat average. Not at he same class than the sister restaurant in Madero.
I had a dinner at Happening and it was outstanding in all respects. A smart and cosy interior, friendly service, a vibey atmosphere and excellent food. The Asado was amazing. A meat paradise. Highly recommended!
Business lunch, widely spaced tables meant conversations were private and able to talk freely. The food was wonderful - great steaks perfectly cooked. Lovely starters, emapanadas and bone marrow (not to everyone's taste, but was extremely tasty). Great location - friendly staff, menus available in...More
We ate top quality meat, very tasteful chicken and also the shrimps as a starter were an an excellent choice. Very old-style and good service, where the waiter is involved in the decision making of what to order. Very fancy restaurant, with super clean restrooms,...More
Top quality, true Argentinian steakhouse. Excellent tender steaks (try the Entrana and Chorizo and Short Ribs). Great Malbec wine and amazing desserts (try the Caprichoso). Truly a wonderful experience. We went there yesterday. Today we went to a more ‘famous place (lilas) which was twice...More
Still a classic! Whether you want to go for pastas or meat, you cannot go wrong with Happening!
It’s been a classic for the past 30 years!
We ate mostly meat (skirt steak and rib eye) and it was delicious and perfectly made!
A nice Restaurante overlooking the river. Nice atmophere, good service and high quality food. Special to go on sunny weekends and take your lunch at the patio. Ask for Ariel and he will guide you on the different meat cuts and enjoy your lunch with...More
Business dinner at Happening in April. Decent steakhouse, good service and food. Very dark inside and unfortunately somewhat noisy. The staff did not inform of the variety of dishes available and I think we missed a good dining experience.
Would I come here again? Probably...More
As one of the main commercial hubs of Buenos Aires, Belgrano has something for everyone. The myriad of shop windows in Cabildo Ave. will draw you in, but it is Chinatown — an area of no more than two square blocks — which will keep you hooked. Crowned by an ornate arch marking its entrance and filled with small stores packed to the brim, it is a place where color and scent emanate from every corner, particularly
during the Chinese New Year when they spill over to surrounding areas. But if you prefer a quieter atmosphere, the residential quarter of Belgrano is the perfect destination. This section of town features some of the most magnificent mansions in the city, spread out on cobbled streets lined by tall, majestic trees: a true feast for the eyes.
