Location and contact

The Oak Bar is a unique private room, an elegant and comfortable area that is an ideal to unwind and relax for pre- and after-dinner drinks. Located in Palacio Duhau - Park Hyatt Buenos Aires, within the Palace building on the Piano Nobile floor, the 28-seat bar embodies a very "Club Style" ambience with its antique oak paneling, a wood burning fireplace, brown leather wingback chairs, and a terrace for up to six people, overlooking the magnificent garden. The original artwork complements the club feel of the bar. The Oak Bar takes its name from its ornately carved oak paneling. The panels are made of European oak, and were specially carved in the 17th century to decorate a castle in Normandy,

This bar is like something out of another era. It is a great place to meet up after a business dinner to relax with colleagues. Great drinks too.

My gf and I learned from our AirBnB host there is a great back courtyard. It was awesome and we overlooked the back on the patio. The cold espresso flavoured drink I had was outstanding! Prompt service and a very nice spot. An oasis in...More

Beautiful and great cocktails. We stopped in for a drink while roaming around Recoleta. Stop in for a drink or to enjoy afternoon tea.

The Oak Bar is a classic BA spot - we enjoyed several cocktails both inside the bar and outside on the patio. They are reasonably priced and it's a very cozy/quiet environment. The service was a bit slow which is the reason for only 4...More

Love the medieval panels from a castle far away in Normandy, France. It makes this bar very special — sipping champagne or a nice cocktail takes on a different twist!

My husband smokes, but I don't. Could not smell any smoke in the place. Wine list was great as well as the menu for us who did not want to eat a lot. Loved the decor.

Oak was recommended as a prefect place for a cocktail and did not disappoint. A perfectly executed gun and tonic in the wood panelled, high ceiling bar part of the Park Hyatt hotel (and experience in itself) was just what we wanted after a gorgeous...More

Sitting in the Oak Bar terrace with a glass if champagne was the perfect ending to our first night in BA. The garden is wonderfully landscaped and stretches down the hill towards the hotel. It's a great example of the unexpected green spaces one finds...More
