We went to visit the Art Decorative Museum on Libertador. The museum is free on Tuesdays. Afterwards, went 30' across the cobblestone lot to snack. Just had coffee at 55p and the pear tart with ice cream at 140p. Read several comments about the waiters, but they were readily available and prompt when needed. They're all very polite young adults... More

As the name implies a good place for the French standby sandwiches: Croque Madame and Monsieur. Good salads and omelettes for brunch. Various locations each similar

Lovely location but the food was below average and overpriced. I could have bought better Ravioli from a store. I had Salmon Ravioli with prawns and there was shell from the prawn in my dish which was disgusting. The waiter was terrible, corked my bottle and lacked manners, one customers got bread on him. Avoid.

Perfect spot to stop by before or after seeing the museum. The food was excellent, the service prompt and thoughtful despite a rainy day with lots of folks waiting to be seated.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch. The pizza El Gatto for two was very good. We also had tiramisu for dessert which also was tasty. One surprise was after you order they offer you a plate of breads and spreads. These are not complementary. If you do not want them just decline the offer.

We had the casseroles and they were delicious. Sat outside in the courtyard which was quite pleasant and quieter than inside, which was packed. Shady too, good place in warm weather.

Perfectly 'nice'but that's not why I've come all the way to Buenos Aires. Good, generous glass of local wine and realising it was getting on thought about lunch , based on positive reviews Really dull , dry Croque of salmon , spinach ( cold) bechamel ( missing) and fried egg on top. Could have been anywhere in the world, except... More

Me and my wife have been here two time and the service and food have been outstanding. Their French Onion Soup is great and their Croque-monsieur sandwich is exceptional.

Out this place on your must stop list while in Buenos Aires. It is absolutely magnificent. Reminds me of a quaint little bistro in Paris, and why not since we are in the Paris of South America. The food was excellent, the wine was wonderful and the service was over the top. Very friendly and attentive staff. You owe it... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
