This must be a really popular restaurant for the people of Buenos Aires. The place was full with couples and families and friends all eating and drinking and enjoying themselves. We had a nice lunch, two salads, one with chicken and avocado and the other a Caesar salad. We also had a beer and a glass of wine. Service was... More

Sunday afternoon and every dining establishment packed to the rafters. We managed to secure a table in this restaurant and then we waited. Eventually had to call the door lady to get service. Order taken and some 15 minutes afterwards our drinks arrived accompanied by fresh baked roll and dip. Tasty and satisfied the hunger pangs while we waited on... More

A milanesa joint... what a good idea! Enjoy some of Buenos Aires finest in a contemporary spot. There is a ton of choices, from classic to adventurous versions. The staff is very professional, reactive, honest. More than recommanded!

After flying all day we decided to check out this restaurant which was only a block from our hotel. It was very busy, but we were seated almost immediately. Then we waited. And Waited. For nearly an hour we were totally ignored until DH was able to flag down a waiter. Eventually I had their Caesar salad and DH had... More

We were 3 and shared ONE milanesa and we couldnt finish it.It is always crowded so you might have to wait a little. We ended up waiting less than what they told us.

The food was average but at a fair price, we had some wine too, reasonable and low costy. However the service was horrible, we felt they didn't want to serve us.

It's basically deep fried junk food covered in sauces and more junk. The milanesa is dry and tasteless. The food here is not the most healthy as it's mainly processed meat and cheese.

Atmosphere ...I didn't think the Rolling Stones were ever going to shut up. Help was decent, food ... well,if were in Germany they would call it schnitzel and do a better job of it. That was my last trip there.

I really really wanted to give this restaurant a higher rating, but just couldn't do it. Ordered the chicken milanesa for two with pancetta and crema with the papas criminales. We entered at the right time because we were able to get seated almost immediately. Groups that came after us were being told of an extensive wait. Food came out... More

Staying in Recoleta

Neighborhood Profile
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
