Situated on the most charming esquina of Palermo soho, brunch at Bartola is great and good value for money: 120 pesos for a coffe, a freshly pressed orange juice and a full plate. For 2, we shared a plate of scrambled eggs, bacon-like pancetta, oven potatoes and bread, and a delicious granola and yogurt with a generous bowl of fruits.... More

I really liked Bartola. While I was working in Palermo, I used to lunch here everysingle day. Argentinian food here is superb as well as Italian.

This is a nice place for simple food that takes care on flavor and freshness. The juices are very good, I had a wonderful coffee and some scrambled eggs. Good choice for warm afternoons.

Bartola corner was a great treat! The decor and ambiance was super funky (from the pastel tables to the banners and the basket lamp-shades) and comfortable, and the food was delicious, and presented beautifully. The highlight of the meal was definitely the peach/strawberry/orange smoothie. If you go, you MUST try it. The place was packed when we visited, which made... More

One of the most girliest cafes, but absolutely perfect for a fun brunch with friends! The food is always fresh, creative, and beautifully presented.

Went here for drinks and it had a great sit-down ambience. Had some chicken fingers but that doesn't really count. Cool place in a great part of town.

This cafe was recommended by a couple of locals. There are two with the same names on opposite sides of the street and this was the more casual one. Easily found with the pale pink and blue chairs and tables set up outside. Despite other reviews about slow service , we found it efficient which may have been partly due... More

Our first day in Buenos Aires we stopped for a quick lunch at this small cafe in Palermo Soho just a couple of blocks from our hotel the Legado Mitico. We enjoyed our mozzarella and tomato pizza. We could not find a space on the sidewalk where there is a fair amount of seating but sat inside a delightfully decorated... More

Bartola has a great location in Palermo. If you're seated outdoors, you have a great corner for people watching. If you're seated indoors, the decor is kitchy enough to keep your eyes roving the details as you wait for your food. I've been several times ~ service is much better during breakfast when the patrons are few. There's a long... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
