I was a big fan of Sunae's closed door restaurant, and was thrilled to see her opening a regular restaurant finally. All the dishes we tried were delicious, full of bold fresh flavors and of generous portions. This will definitely become a regular on our restaurant rotation!

We enjoyed a spicy meal with excellent service. Good walking distance to Palomar. The waitstaff were helpful and attentive.

Chef Christine Sunae delivers excellent flavors, high quality food, and friendly, knowledgeable service at Sunae Asian Cantina. As Pinoys from California, we had high expectations, but Chef Sunae met each of them. Cravings for Asian food will be satisfied here. And we'll be back again before we leave BA.

A friend suggested we try this place, we both love Asian food. It's a welcoming and cool looking restaurant, you can see the cooking happening which I love. The waitress was lovely and the service very good. I had the pho and was so happy to finally find a good one in Buenos Aires. My friend had the curry which... More

After reading all the amazing reviews of this restaurant, I was very excited to have some Asian cuisine in Buenos Aires. The pork buns were good. Our entrees were very disappointing. Very spicy and too salty. I would not recommend this restaurant.

I had dinner with colleague at this place. Both our starters were amazing (I had seafood salad thai style and my colleague Indian curry with rottie). Main was for both less brilliant. I had rendang and was average/good but expected more after kickstart. The glass noodles of my college were as well good but not brilliant.

Tiring of beef we wanted a change of food during our month long tour of South America. We chose Sunae based on the TA reviews. Having travelled extensively in asia we had expected some authentic Thai/Asian/Malay type food but this was very far from it. What we realised during our tour of Argentina was that the Argentines really don't like... More

Looking for a place to have dinner, our hotel recommended this place. Being in Buenos Aires, we were hoping for some authentic South American food but since the hotel receptionist was clearly excited about this place we took a chance. My husband and I are very familiar with Asian cuisine so we figured this can go either way. We were... More

We arrived just after 11pm on a Saturday night and were seated within about 5 minutes. The staff were very friendly however it took a little while for our drinks to arrive. The starter I initially wanted had run out so I opted for the pork buns which I was still quite excited to try. The presentation was good and... More

The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling.
