Excellent food, fortunately our waiter advised to share our starter and mains!! My word the portions are large. Well cooked and good service. It's a very large restaurant and lacking a little in atmosphere. But if what you want is a well cooked steak at a good price this is the place for you.

I have not been to this restaurant in quite some time, but I remember it to be very. good. The tables are perhaps a little crowded, but it didn't affect the service which was pretty good. If I return for a visit to Buenos Aires I would not mind using this restaurant again.

We went here for a late lunch or early dinner after early landing at EZE. Sine it was our first day in BA, we were not up for a late dinner so we had ours at 4pm. Great menu - sirloin for 2 was $18 US - salad was pricey but great with exotic mushrooms. The private reserve Malbec was... More

A large menu and good food, prices are a little bit expensive but you must to considerate that each plate is more than enough for two people. Very big plates! Good attention but a little bit noisy, that the only minus i found.

I have visited El Trapiche sevaral times now and the experience has always been of a normal parilla. I think the Trip Advisor rating is a bit too high as there are better restaurants to visit in Buenos Aires that are placed lower.

We were informed by our hotel receptionist that for reasonable priced but wonderful steaks, this is the place to be. They have a large menu to choose from. We ordered a classic steak. The best we ever had. Smooth and exactly as ordered (medium well). The sides are basic but large portions. Go there if you can... it is worth... More

This is the typical Argentinian restaurante, large, with long menus, beef, chicken, pasta, rice, etc. Food is good, prices are good, do not expect anything fantastic, but you will not have one complain.

I went to El Trapiche on my last evening in Buenos Aires to put in one more beefy meal before heading back to the United States. This restaurant was recommended as one of the oldest parillas in Buenos Aires, and a place that had a wide range of dishes and cuts of meat. I arrived about 8:30 and, as is... More

This place is a CLASSIC (with capital letters). This is a place where locals come to eat with friends and family. The food is great, portions are huge and the prices are fantastic. Be sure that you'll be taking some leftovers home/hotel.

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
