Fantastic service, creative and delicious courses, no pretension, beautiful setting right on the water. Would love to return next time I'm in BA!

Lovely restaurant; great setting, helpful staff and excellent food. The calamari starter and soufflé dessert were amongst the best I've ever had. The pork main was comparatively disappointing but still enjoyable.

Worked our way through the 7 course tasting menu, in truth not at all overwhelming. The courses were nicely balanced and very well presented. Service was excellent, attentive without being over-bearing. One of the better meals on our trip around South America.

Chila is on "the strip" of restaurants on he wharfside at Puerto Madero. Don't let the fact it is two doors down from MAC Donald's distract you from thinking this is anything other than fine dining, which it is. There is a choice of 3 or 7 course tasting menus, with or without wine pairings. I tried the 3 courses... More

Lovely location on the waterfront. We felt important the minute we walked in the door. We chose the 3 choice menu. We received a snack from the chef before the meal started. My first course was the shrimp cocktail with capers. The crunchy capers and aoli made this dish very special. Next our waiter gave us duck rolled in a... More

I had an amazing experience! I've been there for my birthday and we had the 3 course menu with wine pairing. All the flavors ,textures and combinations were great! Excellent service and nice atmosphere, very romantic! I highly recommend it for a special occasion.

This is one of those restaurants that when you look back collectively on all the best places you've pulled a chair to table, you'll remember as a top 10. I was greeted warmly by the hostess and handed off to Marc the matre'd. He spoke English well an I was offered a choice of tables. As a solo dinner who... More

We had some great meals during our stay in CABA and Chila was certainly our favorite. This is higher-end dining but our entire experience was top notch. We had a nice table by the window with views of the PM waterfront, the service was excellent, and the food was muy rico ! We both enjoyed different selections from the 3-Course... More

Here they master presentation and flavour. Nothing was less than expected, but I shall warn you: do not miss the prawn cocktail, which has nothing in common with that old shrimp with golf sauce. It's a splendid mix of flavors. Go for it!

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighborhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighborhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolize this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
