Excellent Dinner

We live in NYC and have experienced several tasting menus at some of the restaurants in the city. The 19 course tasting menu was excellent - the food was expertly prepared. The wine pairings were delicious as well. It's not quite Eleven Madison Park quality - service felt a bit rushed but the food... read more

Our taxi driver took great care bringing us into an area he thought was a bit dodgy for tourists at night. He wouldn't drive off until he saw the door open because the restaurant looked closed. But once we rang the bell we were welcomed into a lovely intimate space with only about 8 or 9 tables in two areas... More

I'm from NYC and I'm no stranger to exceptional food and fine dining. I'm also not a food snob. If it's good, I'll eat it with pleasure. My mother and I agree: Not only was Aramburu the best meal of our two weeks in Argentina, we're fairly certain it was the best meal of our lives. And, by the way,... More

During a week week in Buenos Aires we went to plenty of restaurants among the top of the Tripadvisor list, including the current #1, and several steakhouses. Overall, Aramburu was the best, and t can absolutely hold its own with Alinea and Moto in Chicago and Akkelare in San Sebastián for example. Great approach to the many dishes that were... More

I booked dinner here with my partner. We eat out a lot at good restaurants and are used to paying a high price for a great experience. This was I the end cheaper than hatted restaurants in Sydney and the food was amazing. The outside is deceptively low key. I actually thought the restaurant was shut but after we knocked... More

Awesome food that was creative and sensational. We skipped the matching wines but the available selection was wonderful. I wasn't a fan of sweetbreads but it was a novel experience getting stringy neurone axons between your teeth. This didn't put me off and the rest was a treat!

The restaurant is much more international, than argentinian. I went on Monday to the restaurant, perhaps cause of chosing that day succeeded that there were 8 cooks and just 6 clients. The food was amazing. They served me 19 dishes, from that I didn't like 1, some different tomatoes..that dish wasnt so special. The rest was really fantastic. What does... More

We have had one dinner in Aramburu in each of the last 3 years (we live in the US but usually spend Christmas in Argentina). This is consistently the most memorable dinner we have in Buenos Aires. There are trendier places, with more exposure to rich and beautiful people, but, in our experience, there is no better place for a... More

We had Christmas Eve dinner here and it was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The food was amazing (all 19 courses) and the wines delicious! Each course had it's own surprise taste. The atmosphere was great. It seem like a lot of foreigners. The service was topnotch from the moment we walked through the door. Would... More

This is the best meal we had in BA. We come from San Francisco, where the food is quite good, and so we are always skeptical when we find fine dining establishments in other cities. This restaurant is phenomenal and rivals other Michelin starred restaurants that we've dined at in the States. If you enjoy fine dining, it doesn't get... More
