We had dinner at this restaurant on New Years Day. The food was fantastic, 17 courses, many were very creative dishes. Cost was very reasonable compared with LA prices, about $135/person with the wine pairing. This restaurant reminds me of Vespertine in Los Angeles. The portions are small and those people who like large portions will be disappointed. The wines paired very nicely with the food, 6 wines were served in all. My only negative criticism is that the courses were served very fast, very little time in between courses. We finished the 17 course dinner in about two and a half hours. In spite of this, in my opinion, this may be the best restaurant in Buenos Aires!

The food and presentation are amazing. They are great about telling you which things to eat first for optimum culinary pleasure and can work around any food allergies or dislikes. Their menu changes every 6 months (?) and is always delicious. I only wish I could go multiple times on my annual visit to Buenos Aires and have dinner without doing the 14 course tasting menu. Do not skip the wine pairings as the experience is really wonderful. have been many times and have NEVER been disappointed! Book in advance for larger groups (I believe the max is 8). This truly is dinner and a show!

As another reviewer suggested, just go there and allow them feed you. There is no menu. They will ask if you have any particular dietary restrictions. The multi-course tasting menu together with wine pairing cost around $110 USD (based on exchange rates at the time). Cards are accepted. Paying in cash with USD will invariably get you a better rate locally. Book well in advance to be seated at the chef’s table. Well worth it. The team at Aramburu are superb.

WOW, what an experience. Had dinner on the first night of our honeymoon. It was just excellent in every way, the food, the atmosphere, the wine and the staff made it an unforgettable experience. We had the 17 course taster menu with the wine pairing, each course was paired perfectly with wine. The food is so interesting and the presentation of each dish is just perfect. They made us a special cocktail at the end of the evening to celebrate, it is now our best meal ever, thank so much for a very special evening. If you are coming to BA and want to celebrate or want to experience really good food in a special atmosphere, I would book this restaurant you will not be disappointed.

A friend and I just had the best experience on Thursday, Jan 30. The food was as delectable as it was gorgeous. On par with my experiences at other restaurants such as Alinea in Chicago. We had seats at the "glass wall" which gives you a view into the kitchen as the "artists" prepare your meal. No hiccups in presentation or the alignment of each dish with its Argentine wine pairing. The chilled coconut soup, the scallop, and deer were standouts among the standouts! Rebecca, our primary server was wonderful- a delightful personality, insightful about the food and paid attention to detail without being overbearing or pretentious. My favorite pairings were the Brut and the Malbec. A must experience if you enjoy a diverse culinary experience. I'm no "foodie" but this restaurant rocks!

The food overall was really good, some dishes were michelin star level and very original, some were still good but a bit less exciting. The accompanying wines were all delicious. Portions were good and the wines were refilled. One big let down however was the lack of guiding/ explanation during the dinner. They only have a 17 course a la carte menu so one can expect that they tell you a little bit about the menu/chef, explain in what way the dishes will come out and why they choose the wine pairing... When we mentioned later that it would be nice to have some more explanation they did so, but with this level of food and restaurant you shouldn't need to ask. Having that in place would have given a more cohesive experience and would have certainly done justice to the quality of the food. In general I would recommend going!

We had a 7 PM seating at the Chef's table, which means you are right in front of the open-plan kitchen, where you can watch all the food preparation taking place. The staff were extremely welcoming and polite. Sommelier was fantastic, explaining in detail about various wines (including orange wine, which is a must). All of the 17 courses kept on coming, each full of different flavours and tastes. It took just over two hours for the whole experience and we were so happy that we left it for our last evening in Buenos Aires, just to round off this visit. Hope to be back sometime.

Other than the really annoying floor that caused the table to shake every time someone passed by, which was quite a lot as the waitress are very busy, a great evening. Food very good and so many interesting flavours combined together. Loved the presentation and dishes that were used to serve the food. Although we felt 17 courses were too much especially as only paired with 6 wines as it was difficult to match the wines with the courses.

Wonderful gourmet experience beyond the usual BsAs steak dinner. Beautifully designed small restaurant, fantastic service, creative and fun dishes. Portions could be bigger: 18 courses won’t fill you up as much as you would expect, so don’t come starving. The wine pairing is a must, Argentine jewels and graciously poured and refilled.

We had an amazing experience with the tasting menu. The food was well presented and the staff was very thorough in their explanations of each meal. We had the additional wine pairing menu, and the sommelier was intelligent and gave both information on Argentina's rich wine history along with explanations of how our beverages paired with the food. The whole dinner was a once in a lifetime experience and I would highly recommend it for any travelers in Buenos Aires.

My partner and I dined here while on vacation in Buenos Aires, and words cannot describe how good it was! Eighteen courses (seventeen pictured) with perfect wine pairings. The service was kind, thoughtful, and attentive. The chef even visited our table at the end of our night. A meal of this caliber would cost a small fortune in the US, but the price here was extremely reasonable. Words cannot describe how much we enjoyed our dinner here. This place has a Michelin Star in its future. This is a must if you are visiting Buenos Aires; we will definitely be back on our next trip!

We love Aramburu - very innovative food, lovely presentation, competent multilingual service... One slight issue with the fact that they want to rush you through the first seating. Commercially and organizationally I get it - but getting your first serving while you are sitting down and being given the bill while desert is still on the table (or that is what it feels like, anyway) feels... rushed.

The food and how it is presented is unique. Each dish is a work of art. The dining room is quite dark and lit mainly by narrow spot lights shining on each table which light up only the food like you would a beautiful sculpture. The kitchen is fully visible through a glass wall. If you'd like to watch the chefs prepare the delicate dishes, you could request a table near the kitchen and watch it like a theatre performace. This restaurant is very expensive but it was fully booked for good reason.

An amazing restaurant that serves a creative, artistic and delicious variety of food paired with the best wine Argentina has. We did the tasting menu paired with wine and left feeling like we had just eaten in one of the best restaurants ever. Sit next to the kitchen and watch the magic unfold. Rebecca and the rest of the staff went out of their way to answer any questions and provide impeccable service throughout the entire experience. Highly recommend- you won’t forget it.

Aramburu is by far one of the most creative and refined dining experiences in Argentina. Each dish was excellently prepared and thoughtfully paired with a local wine. The pictures (posted) will say more than a thousand words... I also appreciated that the sommelier took time to provide us with a list of recommended wine estates to visit in Salta (Cafayate). Our visit to Aramburu took place before the COVID-19 lockdowns. We sincerely wish that the restaurant and its dedicated team will be able to withstand this challenging time and pick it up where it used to be.

Recoleta
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
