The best meal I had in Buenos Aires. It is worth every penny. The staff is super nice and insightful on the food. My water was never empty once. The creativity here is 10/10. For the dessert course, we were moved to the 2nd floor...in a private room since we had a group of 5. Very nice touches in the room. There were some dishes I liked more than others but I would definitely come here every time I am in Buenos Aires. Must make reservations in advance but definitely worth the wait.More

Was not surre about what to expect when I booked this restaurant but was pleasantly surprised. The menu is of very high quality, with exceptional products, spectacular presentations, and the technicality is remarkable at least for some dishes. Although consisting of 19 courses, the menu...is remarkably balanced, and, thanks to the absence of bread, cheese, and starch it is extremely easy to finish, even though some portions are small but certainly not microscopic. Service is very friendly. Price a real bargain (maybe as long as you don't have an Argentinian salary...). Only downside in my opinion is the rhythm of service, which is extremely fast. The ballet in the kitchen is fantastically orchestrated.... meaning that dishes come out at stratospheric speed... (not much more than 2 hrs for the whole thing !!!), I was alone so not too much of a problem, but would I have been with others I'd have considered this (far) too fast. Maybe it's the price to pay in order to serve a 19 courses menu twice in one evening? In any case: superb.More

With 1500 ‘Excellent’ reviews on TripAdvisor, I guess there’s not much I need to say. Aramburu is, from start to finish, a true delight.

Fantastic food, welcoming service and a comfortable atmosphere. We were lucky enough to be seated at the chefs table and it was fun to watch the incredible team in action. Our waiter Charlie was warm and engaging as was the sommelier (sorry I forgot his...name) and we had a lovely evening. We enjoyed every course, no duds, each one was great , as were the accompanying wines. Highly recommended!More

The meal here was exceptional. The staff were attentive and helpful, the atmosphere beautiful but the food was next level. Photos won’t do this place justice, a must experience .

I visited the Aramburu restaurant with 2 friends. It is located at the end of a narrow passage where there are other restaurants. You have to ring the bell and wait for them to open to enter. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the tables...are very well laid out, allowing for private conversation without disturbance. The menu consisted of a series of steps composed of small portions of a variety of dishes paired with very well selected wines. The presentation of each dish is amazing, and worthy of an artist, however the flavors were not amazing at all, and I would even say that they were very tasteless, and well below the expected gourmet level. The service is very good, and always attentive to the diners. Finally we went up one floor to the bar area, and tasted signature drinks, really very good. However, I must confess that the final price, 520 US dollars, was absolutely excessive for what the evening was like.More

This is an experience. And like most, there were some things I loved and other things I left unsure of. The food itself was creatively presented and showed innovation in preparation, though there was more than one course that I didn't fully enjoy. The wine...pairings were amazing, enhancing the flavors and introducing me to new Argentine wines. It did seem that the service was rather fast, but it took three to four hours from start to finish. It was a lovely way to spend the evening and try new things, but I don't know if I would return if I had guests in town.More

The entire experience for us was amazing, from the staff friendliness, to the professional service and the plates presented. Definitely worthy of Michelin ratings. All the courses were well thought out and wonderfully presented. The attention to ALL the details from the restaurant design, to...the quality of the tablewares and of course, the food was impeccable. It was clear the entire team works in concert to deliver an amazing experience and they did. The “Buñelos de Morillas” were out of this world. Bravo!More

Unfortunately none of the courses had the WOW factor for us. The courses were made VEEY creatively but they were more beautiful than they tasted. Having experienced at least a couple dozen Michelin star restaurants around the world I can certainly say this experience was...not a memorable one. The next day we did the tasting menu at Chila and that was absolutely a much better experience… WOW factor on all courses (heavy on molecular cuisine) + puerto madero view + significantly lower price = better value and experience. Maybe we’re a bit biased because we don’t love all the veggies they used as courses, as much, ugh but even desserts, which are my favorite, we’re not super yummy 😞More

I was born in Argentina, but I left it a decade ago. I am used to European cuisine, particularly French. I knew Aramburu was one of the best dining experiences in BA and Lat Am; however, I was surprised by the 18 pasos menu with...wine pairing. Excellent service. Intimate ambience. Daring dishes. I salute the inclusion of non-traditional Argentinean meats (quail, deer, duck) [El Baqueano is famous for this]. Attention to detail. The marriage between wine and food was good; perhaps the wine selection could have been more bold or imaginative; it seems to me the wineries catering the restaurant [Chandon, Luigi Bosca] restrict the sommelier’s creativity. Only faux pas, when we arrived, perfectly on time, our table was not ready. We were escorted to another restaurant in front (also a property of Mr. Aramburu), where we were given a glass of "espumante" to liven up the wait. The choice was Chandon Extra Brut, which was not à l‘hauteur with the Aramburu experience. We didn’t drink it. I risk sounding snobbish, but the devil is in the details. Aramburu deserves to be ranked higher in the Lat Am 50 Best Restaurant list. It takes balls to create a restaurant like this in Argentina. Chapeau Mr. Aramburu!More
