Martitegui brings a great experience to people who is willing to try different things. Actually he was in the restaurant making sure everything was ok. The entrance of Tegui doesn't reflect the place character: very modern. Testing Menu of 10 courses. My favorites were asparagus, tortellini and the deer. I had an excellent evening!!

Tegui came highly recommended and I was unfortunately disappointed. The food was good, though undeserving of the reputation, accolades and 50 best rating. The service was the real disappointment. Our meal was extremely rushed, the pairings were off throughout the meal and the descriptions were sparse at best. For the price point in BA, it was a disappointment. Our meal... More

For being in the top 10 restaurants of Latin America, I had relatively high expectations of this place. Unfortunately, none of the dishes here really "popped" for my wife and I. We left here really disappointed. The service and everything else was great, but none of the courses really had that "wow" factor. We also visited iLatina and Aramburu, both... More

After a long review, I've decided to go to Tegui on my last visit to Buenos Aires. People very nice on the phone for reservations. When you get there you'll never imagine what is inside. A glass of -not very good- champagne welcomes every guest. I wasn't asked if I wanted something different. The place is nice but cold. There... More

Very innovative dishes with complex and intertwined flavor profiles. Very elegant atmosphere. Would recommend on a visit to BA. On our visit most recently the menu didn't particularly resonate with us, hence the missing 5th star. There is a menu - and it's a 11ish small plate tasting menu. So if you aren't in love with the chefs selection that... More

I had dinner here some weeks ago, after many years of hearing a lot about the place and also its current ranking on the list. The outside looks very unassuming, but its a nice surprise to step in to a very cozy room, with nice lightning and serene atmosphere, with the kitchen in the end of the place. We ordered... More

What an amazing degustation meal. We had the full wine option also. The flavours, presentation and knowledge of the waiters were top class. The selection of wines were outstanding. The exterior of the restaurant is a basic graffiti wall which cleverly hides the cosy but classy interior. Such a great experience!!

The outside of this restaurant in very unassuming but the inside is very beautiful. The look, ambiance and service are very good but they don't make up for so so food. We had the 12 course tasting menu with drink pairings and we really enjoyed 3 or 4 of the dishes. The corn crackers with roasted red pepper, green beans... More

In our opinion this restaurant is overrated. Supposedly one of the best dining experiences in the city, we found the 12 course dinner to be creative but also very heavy. Be prepared to sit through two hours of dining that usually goes late into the night. But at around U$150 per person the price was not bad considering it included... More

If you go, you have to try the 12 courses tasting menu. If you are not willing to, just do not go, since the rest of the menu s very, very limited, and not interesting at all. However, the tasting menu is excellent. Is pricy. However, it is a good deal for what they offer. They respect the product, working... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
