This experience is one that we’ll be talking about back home in Philadelphia for a long time. The food, service, drinks, and overall experience are a 10/10. The welcome cocktail is delicious, you immediately are tasked with making your own chimichurri sauce. The wine paired...well with each selection and were even some surprise dishes added into the night. The desert is one that we’ll be dreaming about…high recommended when in Buenos Aires!More

Tonight was our 5th time to experience this wonderful restaurant. It's a must visit when friends and colleagues are in town and tonight we celebrated a work anniversary as well. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, and we also enjoy making new friends with...the other guests. The 8 course meal was presented beautifully and was delicious as always. We were told of an upcoming menu change so we're excited to make plans to visit again real soon.More

The food was good with a slant to modern cuisine, rather than traditional Argentinian parrilla. There was very little training on cooking. All that they did was explain how they prepared the food. The show was watching them cook the food. They were well-organized. Thus,...there was continuous activity. They started with a welcome cocktail that was good. They followed with samples of preparations ending with the main meat course. The meat was a bit tough. I guess this was because it was grass fed beef. The wines were good with the option for as many refills as you wanted. People with reservations got a better view of the cooking area than those who walked in. If you are looking for training on cooking on the parrilla, there is a better choice in Buenos Aires.More

This is a show. The story is as important as the food and the food is amazing. The whole setup is wonderful The seating is around the central firepit and the firepit is an experience of glass, steel, flame and aromas. As it s a...show, you need to turn up on time. You will also need to book. We dined with the premium wine pairing and these were a good match. Thanks to the team at Fogon Asado for a memorable nightMore

The best way to describe this place is like a US style hibachi grill but for the Argentine grill. You cannot just walk in a get a table. Must purchase ahead of time and be on the list to get in. There is only one...seating a night for about 30-40 people, people from all over the world. The do the dinner in Spanish and English. The food was among the best we had in Argentine. The atmosphere and "show" was friendly and so much fun. I would love to experience this again. Just go!More

We truly enjoyed this experience at Fogon Asado. The staff were all so kind and fun! From the very beginning , the welcome cocktail was outstanding. The food was impeccable and we loved every single dish. The short rib was melt in your mouth so...good. The meats and desser were all fantastic. We left just in awe of how good the food was and how great the experience with the staff was! Definitely recommend to everyone living or visiting in Buenos Aires!More

Its hard to relay in words the enjoyment my family and I had at Fogon. The food was out of this world. Starting with a specialty drink of the house, we then mixed our own spices for the dinner. They had instructions and helped us...every step of the way. It says 5 course dinner but they have some surprises in store for you. It was closer to 7 courses. If you like different meats, cooked multiple different ways, different woods and seasonings, this is your place. Also a great wine pairing with each course. Truly delightful. I took my entire family. One daughter doesn't eat red meat and one has celiacs. They accommodate both food needs perfectly. For celiac they had serval options (ie. gluten free empanadas). For my not red meat eater they made her a different vegetable, grilled and spiced to perfection. She got w portion for each different course. It was seamless. We have travelled the world and had great meals from Asia, Europe and the US and this was an extraordinary experience.More

Major highlight of a 2 week Argentina trip. Amazing value- I would have been happy paying twice the price. Delicious food, fabulous staff. They added a birthday slice and some bubbly for my husband’s birthday. Do yourself a favor and just make the reservation already-...you won’t be sorry.More

We’ve eaten at Ramsay, Blumenthal, and many other Michelin restaurants but this was hands down my favourite dining experience ever! The understated entrance makes one feel like you’re entering a speakeasy. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The grill masters skilful execution and genuine...excitement at sharing their wonderful food was infectious. Great wine flight, we went for the non premium option which was faultless. Everything from the delicious welcome cocktail to the cattle branded pancake was simply FIRST CLASS! Michelin probably don’t give stars to grill restaurants because they aren’t ‘fancy’ enough but they should take a look at this place. For a family of 4 with teenage children it was a great way to spend a very entertaining evening. When are you opening your branch in London, you know it’s the right thing to do. A little footnote. I also have to compliment the owner. We booked and paid to come to Fogon in early 2020 planning to visit at Easter, the pandemic hit and everything closed down. We asked for a refund as we couldn’t travel and were given the justifiable reason that with the closure of restaurants due to CV19 and the need to carry on paying the staff, this wouldn’t be possible but he would honour our booking at any time in the future. Two years later we contacted them to see if they would still honour this commitment and they did. Thank you it was well worth the wait.More

The best culinary experience in Buenos Aires. Make sure to clear your calendar because you’ll spend close to two hours enjoying the best Argentina has to offer. The staff was cordial and enthusiastic throughout the entire meal. The selection of wine worked wonders with the...different courses. Lastly, the food was impeccable. I enjoyed watching them explain the next course & how it’s made. Highly recommended and I can’t wait to go when im back in Buenos Aires.More
