Following a visit to the MAMBA Museum in San Telmo, we stopped for lunch at Caseros on the lovely street of the same name. We were lucky enough to eat afuera. I tend to avoid ordering seafoods in BA in summer, but I felt confident that fish would be safely handled in this restaurant. I had a very well seasoned... More

The place is very quiet, the atmosphere is fantastic to have a dinner with couple or friends. The food is good, and prices reasonable.

Our first night in BA and this recommendation did not disappoint. Great service though don't expect too much English translation ability. The food and wine were upmarket bistro with fabulous flavours. We had sweetbreads as a starter and steak and tortolloni for mains. Will have to get accustomed to the very late dining hours in BA - 10pm dinner -... More

It is a nice place, small but nice. The service is good but the food is excellent. We tried a salmon salad which was 170 pesos and a ceviche was 170 as well. There is not a great variety of dishes which makes the food even more special and great. the sodas are 30 pesos each and el cubierto is... More

I liked the food and the original carte. Disliked that we were the only ones there, no carte or menu outside to check prices, no credit or debit cards.

I came to Caseros Restaurant three years ago for the first time. It was delicious! So now on my visit in Buenos Aires i wanted to go there again! Still it is a very lovely, nice place to have good food! The bread in the beginning was great, like some foccacia. Prices are definitely fair for the huge portions they... More

I ended up here eating with my mother after a holiday because all restaurants in the area were closed. Service was excellent considering the fact that it was crowded and there was just one waitress: she made an amazing effort and everything went smoothly. Food is not remarkable, but it's ok. Good option: fish. Bad option: pasta (industrial and tasteless)

Don't leave Buenos Aires without visiting San Telmo, and do not leave San Telmo without visiting Avenida Caseros next to the Parque Lezama: there are a handful of very nice restaurants, and this is my preferred one: unpretentious but cozy, and a simple but very tasty food, a gem! On weekdays you can have a daily menu at a very... More

I loved this place! San Telmo is the greatest place to stay in Buenos Aires: restaurants, museums, street markets, funny local people. And one of the best restaurants is Caseros, with a minimalist deco but a NOT minimalist kitchen. Super! Just a few blocks from the Mansion Vitraux Boutique hotel, the heart of San Telmo. It is a must.
