We booked the tickets online for Thursday evening. We were contacted to see if we could change reservations for Wednesday evening which was fine by us. We were picked up in a private car and placed on the best table on the balcony. The food was delicious. The wine was flowing all night. The service was very good and to... More

We came here for dinner after a tango lesson. Ordered the tapas and had delicious portions of steak, chicken, empanadas and chips. Quilmes to wash it all down. Next time I'll try the tango show. I've heard good things.

I bought a package of dinner+tango show (about 1100 pesos/person). The tango show was very nice, in an old theater like style and great performance of singers and dancers. Dinner was also ok, but could be better in terms of options offered in menu. The beverages were all-you-can-drink (wine, beer, soda, water). The transportation from and to the hotel was... More

We loved the tango show. The dancing and music were wonderful. We enjoyed the meal and wine. We had a cozy table for two that took us right back to the 1950s. It was great value for a lovely evening of entertainment. Service was also attentive. Highly recommended for a memorable evening.

Nice confiteria right across the road from our tango teacher's studio. We had coffee or lunch there almost every day. It is one of the "cafe notable" coffeeshops, and it is a beautiful place indeed. A tad touristy, but quite pretty :)

Took myself here for a birthday brunch, because who doesnt like white linen tablecloths with sky blue embroidered details? You can order a few different breakfasts combinations here, from a classic coffee /medialuna combo to an omeltte with fruit salad, medialuna, and coffee--very reasonable especial lly considering the level of attention you recieve . I also had a lovely piece... More

This was a worthwhile experience start to finish - my only regret was having too little time to spend there. And my only complaint was having my otherwise superb view repeatedly obstructed by tourists trying to take pictures using iPads. The omnipresent cameras and cellphones are bad enough, but iPads are huge. C'mon, people - have a heart! I love... More

Not wanting to travel cross-town to one of the big-name-steak-parillas, I popped around the corner for a repeat visit to this classy spot mid-afternoon. On my previous visit there I was more than happy with my meal, so 'settled' for local and good. As the waiter handed me the menu he flicked through to the parilla section, and pointed me... More

We booked to have both the meal and the show to make a night of it and thought the food was really nice. Be aware that if you pay cash in dollars its 110 but by card 140. The staek was massive and very tasty. The show had some very good dancers in it and the time went by quickly.... More

I see no way to review only the tango, but I did not have dinner. The Tango at Cafe de los Angelitos- is held in a theatre behind the rather plain looking cafe, but the room opens up to the theatre, large and spacious with a good attempt at elegant decor, but clearly not an old pedigreed theatre. The female... More
