We absolutely enjoyed sitting outside and people watching! Enjoyed some Pategonias and empanadas were amazing! You must stop by for lunch when I'm Recoleta!

There's great pizza places in Buenos Aires but if you need to eat quickly and you are right next to Romario, don't hesitate, just get in.

Delicious thin crust, terrific combo of sauce, cheese, and diverse toppings. Great pizza!! Porteña atmosphere, side-walk tables, small cafe-style restaurant opposite the Recoleta cemetery, a Buenos Aires landmark.

I used to go to Romario when I was living in Argentina. Good pizza, good prices and staff very friendly. It is a great place to go with friends and relax.

Bottom line is that this is a decent chain of pizza places that can sometimes be filled with a good crowd. The food is fine but nothing special. There are better places to have fun with better pizza than Romario, that is for sure.

This pizza place is located in a corner on a fun neighborhood, full of shopping, movie theaters and museums. Perfect to sit after visiting Recoleta Cemetery, the Museo de Bellas Artes and the weekend "Ferias" at the park, just a few blocks away. The pizza is delicious. The also have empanadas, sandwiches, salads and my absolute favorite: Provoletas. Not cheap... More

Well, you are in Recoleta, by the Cemetery Walls, movement is expected. Food is really good even when this is not a cheap pizza option, but if you sit at the outside tables, you will be below the trees, meters from the Cemetery, a block from a busy mall and same distance from Las Heras Avenue (noisy one by the... I live in Buenos Aires and its a very good place for Pizza and Empanadas. Not for beer because they have Brahma as a sponsor, but beside that is a good place to go.

My first Pizza in Argentina was great. I ordered the humita and onion and cheese empanadas to start. They were delicious. The guys I was with recommended that we get a chickpea pizza that goes on top of the regular pizza. I've never had this before but was glad I tried it. Great way to carb load :) We had... More

Staying in Recoleta

Neighborhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
