I had heard about Las Cabras on various websites, as well as word of mouth, so a group of us decided to try it out on a tuesday evening. It certainly did not disappoint! All the food we ordered was excellent, not to mention half the price we have paid in some other steakhouses in Buenos Aires! I ordered the... More

I was recommended by my friend about Las Cabras and I wasn't disappointed. This place is by far my favorite and the price for the amount of food is reasonably fair. Highly recommend.

You have sometimes these moments that you think, well this was an outstanding experience. Yesterday there was a moment like that. We started with the Chorizo sausage and a beer (Imperial). Then we took the bife the lomo that came with a kind of ceasar salad. The meat was soft as butter and had a glorious taste. The wine was... More

We'd had a few average meals in Buenos Aires until getting a recommendations for Las Cabras- it didn't disappoint, DELICIOUS!! I haven't had steak like it before or since. Even the salad was to die for!! Worth returning to BA for another taste.

If you are lucky enough to visit Buenos Aires the epicentre of this city's culture will quickly become apparent: food. Over time your voice cracks of surprise at the appearance of yet another great restaurant will subside into a slight sense of dread, 'Where do we go? There's so much... too much!' Well my troubled travellers if you have but... More

We spent 450 pesos very reasonable- and enjoyed two great meals: mixed parilla and matambre both with salad and the house red Syrah / Malbec from San Juan 👍 (60pesos:)) this place gets busy but the waiters try hard to be attentive and are efficient whilst noticeably enjoying the ambience of the place themselves. I recommend this place if you're... More

If it weren`t for the 1 hour wait in line for a table, would`ve given 5 stars! They don`t accept reservatios so... The meat is absolutely superb and it comes in very well served portions on the dishes! We were a party of 5, had 3 dishes shared and at the end were all full!

By good luck I sent to this place (because there was queue on Sunday). This it true gem! Nice sweet bread with butter. Great a big piece of meat accompanied with rice/chips/onion/pumpkin. Love it and nice house wine (only by bottle but for 4 € good deal. Total costs for me around 20€ including tip. A lot value for money!... More

Really nice place just around the block where I work, really good value. Restaurant starts to get packed around 930, because everyone knows it's the cheapest place to get good meat. Not in the top 5 in Buenos Aires but totally worth a visit if you're around.

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
