Really don't bother going to this place, there are many better restaurants within meters, the waiter had no idea about wines when I asked him to suggest one to go with my steak, and when they brought it they didnt even serv it in a wine glass but a normal short glass, it was not only un classy but totally... Great food for a very reasonable price. There are some excellent asado places in Bs As but they tend to be a lot more expensive while Las Cabras has the same quality for much less. They dont take any reservations but they are very friendly and serve drinks while you wait for your table. Excellent place!

This restaurant has a nice setting. The food was ok, steak was too well done, despite clear indications, the salad was nice. The service, however, was a joke. The staff chat each other and do everything they can to avoid doing their job. 4-5 of them chatting while people were waiting to be assigned a table outside. Paying took ages...

On a busy street corner, this little gem can be found. With plenty of outdoor seating, a friendly and vibrant vibe, and nice selection of drinks and local food. Feels like the kind of spot you would make your regular haunt if you lived in the neighborhood.

The place is packed which tells you what you need to know. The kitchen keeps to what it does best and cheerful waiters bring it to your table (outdoors if you are lucky). The steak was good and so were the salads.

This restaurant was very full and happening. You can see the kitchen work which is really cool and the steaks we had were perfectly cooked and of a great cut! A must if you are in BA!

I lived in Buenos Aires for 5 months and I went several times to this restaurant, but yeah it is busy.. The prices are super cheap (read: 75 pesos one bottle of wine) and you definitely have to order the shared plate with beef. Come on time (around 7 -8 o'clock) and you don't have to wait. You can also... More

Cutting it - all of a sudden something was moving on the plate - Ohhh a cockroach crawling out under my beef of meet .. Following... More

Come early or expect to wait. The place was packed within no time. Get the steak with the egg, fries, pumpkin, onion etc absolutely delicious and great price. Drinks well priced. It was nice to sit outside with somewhat unpractical furniture and dim lighting amongst the trees, streets and locals of buenos aires. If here again, i would absolutely return.

think about an "asado de tira" too done (they didn't even asked how we wanted our meat) and as hard as you can bite. Furthermore they do not accept credit cards. Services is poor. There are many better wonderful places nearby to eat an amazing meat. Go to La Cabrera or Miranda and have a much better experience.

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
