This place is totally worth going to if you like the local/organic cuisine scene at home and want to see how it translates in Buenos Aires. We had a delicious meal, one of the best of our trip. Would go again happily.

We ordered sweet meat (mollejas) bondiola and ojo de bife, 2 glasses of wine. Food was incredible and not as expensive as we thought (1000 pesos). Attention was excellent, we felt like being at home. Place is small only 10 tables

Seven years passed since my last visit, my opinion is that the kitchen continues to be excellent. The restaurant is in the neighborhood of Belgrano in a quite stree; although it is not easy to park the car. The starter, a cheeseboard with an unsurpassed crottin cheese, the braised lamb very good and the stuffed quail excellent (How many other... More

Puratierra is literally right around the corner from our condo in Buenos Aires. Out our front door and 40 steps away is the finest meal that either of us have ever eaten. Go with a great appetite and plenty of time to enjoy.

As always the food was delicious!! Atmosphere nice and cozy. Background music is not too loud. The attention is superb. No parking and no valet.

The must amazing dinner experience! Awesome argentinian food & wine. Take "Bondiola", or any meat! and feel the real flavour of the meat... "pesca or Salmon" ; great "mollejas".... all with the side order special: papines, quinoa, amaranto.... IT's a real great experience!!!

When you enter Pura Tierra you feel as if you have entered another world. There are a lot of elegant restaurants in Buenos Aires, this goes way beyond that. Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
