I use to live in Buenos Aires for 14 years. I know something about meat, in restaurants and in private "asados". I went back on April 2016 and decided to go to La Cabrera. This restaurant was recommended by tourists not by locals. I ask to my family and friends living en Buenos Aires and everybody was saying the same... More

I asked for a vife de chorizo but I got a NY strip. It was hard and not tender. They give you some really nice sources with it but no chimichuri...the side order was home friends with caramelized onions which was a lot and a bottle of red wine.it came to be almost $75 usa dollars. No really worthy the... More

We expected this to be one of the best in a recommendation, but it ended up being a dinner in Disneyland. There are two restaurants for La Cabrera. The original one and the one the tourists are put into. We booked online and were shuffled down the street to the distended business full tourists in a roomfull of kitsch artefacts... More

We had fantastic food and service here. Our head waiter was Martin. He was wonderful and guided us through suggestions on the menu. This atmosphere is unique and funky. The steaks are superb and the sides are creative. We highly recommend it!

Just great! I liked the meat and sauces a lot. The service was great as well. My best restaurant visit in several days in Buenos aires. The only negative point was that the guy who works at the checkout did not call the taxi for us and suggested that we search the taxi on the street ourselves at night with... More

Great food, excellent service, wonderful atmosphere. The small plates they bring to taste are excellent, but it was only the introduction to a marvelous provoleta, an amazing bife de chorizo with an excellent wine and a breathtaking panqueque con dulce de leche. Highly recommend

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
