Service: poor! Hurried us to order(we were tourists, of course it was difficult to decide since we've travelled all this way for the best Argentinian steak!), waiter practically threw the plates onto our table and took the knives from our table which we had our olive pits on to replace knives at other tables. He hovered at our table whilst... More

We visited here with a couple friends of ours who were locals. We knew of the reputation of this place and in some respects we can attest, the service is excellent, and the restaurant gives you all kinds of little things to taste. But, when it comes down to it, the food is not really anything that outstanding. We tried... More

We went to this place for lunch at the recommendation of the desk clerk at our hotel. The recommendation came with the caveat that "sometimes the service can be spotty." If they had that kind of problem before, it either has been rectified or we hit them on a great day. Our server, Romina, was super. And she spoke great... More

There was a short queue when me and I a friend arrived, but we were in a few minutes. Lots of Brazilians, so I felt at home. The place is charming but the tables are rather small which makes passing food a bit hard, but you'll forget it when the steak arrives. As a start, we had a grilled provolone... More

There are some good points about this restaurant but also some negative points. The decoration is good, the menu extensive but the service lacked. We were with a group of 6 and for of us ordered steak I had mine rare 400 grams but got 200 gram medium. When pointing this out to the waiter he carved a piece of... More

La Cabrera, em Pallermo, is an excellent restuarant. It serves wonderful and tasty food, the waiters are super friendly and helpful and the environment is amazing! The only bad thing is that if you don´t arrive midday to have lunch or if you don´t have a reservations you wait about 3 hours to enter the resutaurant.

I was only in BA for one night and this is where my colleagues took me. I have nothing to compare it with and didn't pay the bill but It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The restaurant is nicely old fashioned and has a lot of character. They pack them in here and the place was crowded but the atmosphere... More

Arrive @ 6:30 sharp for a first come first served seat in this classic BA steak house. A word of caution- the portions are very large. A caprese salad easily feeds two. The wine list is large and our Malbec from ARgentina complimented the dinner nicely. The medium sirloin was too large for my wife to finish and my flank... More

We were greeted by the maitre and quickly accommodated to our table, where our waitress Ivanna suggested their specialties and we took her expert advise. Everything was perfect and her attention impeccable. I recommend it!

Meat is fantastic and the little surprise side dishes are beautiful! Book your table in advance as it gets really busy and you may wait for a table for an hour

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
